"No! No, just no!" you screamed.

Everyone, even your father, stared at you in surprise at your outburst. You and Henry were shocked to hear the news but you were the first to break it.

"Pardon my outburst, Mr. Mayor, but this is ridiculous," you apologized, "I'm highly capable of taking care of myself. I've done it for months."

"I'm well aware, Ms. [Last name]," Stoick said, "But understand your father wants you supervised at all times and we have already agreed on these terms."

You huffed, "Sorry, but I'm a legal individual. And unless you have my signature down on a contract, you can't make me do anything."

You groaned when you saw your father's gaze turned into an amusement one even though it didn't show on his lips. He pulled out a packet and flipped to the last page and at the bottom of the page was your signature.

"You got my signature stamped?!"

~.~.~

I can't believe this is happening.

You stayed silent on the way to Henry's house, or in this case, the mayor's. Your father and Heather sat next to you in the back as your family's chauffeur drove following the mayor's car with Henry driving his mother's car behind. Your father stayed for a little longer to make sure you don't run off.

Like you have any choice.

All three cars drove up to a mansion with a woman standing in the front with a Great Dane and what looked like Toothless. Toothless armed and waggle his tail excitedly when he saw Henry. You saw Henry made a hand movement then said something and Toothless immediately mellowed and behaved. You raised an eyebrow at the sudden personality change. Toothless spotted you, but he didn't move from his seat next to Great Dane like you thought he would.

The rest of you exited out of the cars. Your father's men came out with your stuff from home while Heather stood behind you and your father. It wasn't the stuff from your apartment but from [Where you're from]. You looked disgusted at the old leather bags and the reminder of your boring place of a home.

"You have dogs?" your father asked in what you know is disgust. Your father wasn't much of a friendly pet person if anyone hasn't noticed yet. He wouldn't even give you a simple goldfish for company.

They're a waste of space and money, your father had said once when you asked about it.

"Yes," the mayor answered, "They are excellent guard dogs for the family." You know it wasn't a lie, but something told you there was much more to it.

"I see," your father hummed. He turned to you, "Now, that you are here, I understand you know you're part."

You looked away from him but answered nonetheless. "I understand."

When your father's men finally put everything in your room, your father and Heather walked back to the car and you watched it drove away.

You felt a large hand rest on your shoulder. "I'm sorry, lass," you heard the strong accent from the mayor, "It was the only way for your father to agree to the terms."

You turned your neck and had to crane it slightly to look up to the tall and large man. "I understand, sir. My father can be quite...difficult, but I appreciate it. I'm sure it's a lot for you."

He laughed heartily, "Your father has always been like that, strict. But, that's how he stopped wars with other countries."

You hummed, not surprised at all.

"Don't worry," he said assuredly, "It won't be any different than how you lived in Berk before. You can still work, go to class, and go out. It's just going to be in a different location to live in."

"Wait, what?" you asked in shock, "You mean there's no specific groundings?"

"Why should there be?" he chuckled, "I see a fully capable woman who knows what she is doing."

You smiled brightly, "Thank you, sir!"

"Calm me Stoick, [Name]." His laugh boomed and he brought you in to a friendly side hug. You were surprised with the sudden personal space but you didn't find it uncomfortable. You still grinned.

"Okay, Toothless! The big man is gone!" you heard Henry said.

You looked over to him to see Toothless tackle his master on the grass and lick him endlessly. Henry only cried out and laughed when the slime-like made contact with his skin. He finally got Toothless off after a while.

"Gross," you giggled.

"You must be Ms. [Last name] from what I heard of my husband," a middle-age woman walked up to you in greeting. The gray Great Dane followed her and stay by her side.

"You must be Henry's mother then," you replied back in an honest smile. Now, with a closer look, just by looking at her and Henry, you can tell they were related. Henry looked more like his mother than his father, you noted.

"You know Henry then?" she asked.

You nodded, "Yes, before this whole thing happened, he acquainted me to the city of Berk."

"Oh," her voice turned into amusement while looking at Henry, "So, this was the friend you helped that you were talking about."

"Mom," Henry warned while still laying on the ground petting Toothless.

She only giggled back.

"Well, I'm sure you want to look around and get your room set up," Stoick started.

"About that," you said nervously, "The stuff my father brought was stuff I intended to leave behind, meaning I grew out of."

"Ah," Stoick nodded, "So, you want to get your stuff from your apartment complex?"

You blinked at him. "How did you know about my apartment?"

He chuckled again, "It's my job to know about the new residents in Berk."

"Oh, right," you mumbled, "That would explain how you know about the classes as well."

He nodded.

"I can help with that," Henry grunted as he got up from the grass, "We can take my mom's car again to get your stuff."

You nodded at the plan. "And I would have to drive my bike," you nodded.

"Right, let's go."

You hopped in the car as Henry invited Toothless in the back. Henry's parents stood at the entryway and waving as you two drove off.
