The rain pounded against the window and lightning flashed every once in a while. The background sound was perfect for what you were doing. You were curled up in a blanket on the couch while reading a book. Limitless was currently in your interest. You watched the movie and you heard of the show. The only thing left was to read the book right?

Well, you are a bookworm after all.

A shift on the seat next to you took you out of your trance and directed to the person who just wrapped their arm around your shoulder. You continued to reading your book but laid your head against Henry's arm. He returned the favor by laying his head on your neck that became exposed. Your eyes were getting heavy as the new warmth spread in your body. You decided to close the book and close your eyes enjoying the peacefulness.

A raking choke interrupted the quiet atmosphere. Henry started off with clearing his throat but when it turned into a coughing fit, he pulled away from you. You sat up with him and rubbed his back as he leaned over to get the tickle out of his throat.

"Well, I know you're getting better," you reasoned.

"And how do you know that?" he coughed.

"Because your body is trying to get the mucus out of your system," you answered truthfully.

He finished his coughing and groaned, "I hate being sick."

"No one likes being sick."

"I just want this to pass already," he sighed. He leaned back into the sofa again and you leaned against his shoulder.

"Why is that?" you asked.

"I haven't kissed you in a week," he answered.

Your facial expression turned to stone immediately in response, and your eyelids lowered in boredom. "Yeah," you started, "Now, I know you're fine if you're flirting like that."

He chuckled to himself lightly, but it turned into a coughing fit. You leaned away while he turned his head away.

"Come on," you grunted while getting up, "I know something that help with that cough of yours." You started walking into the kitchen to get the ingredients out.

You heard a groan come from behind you. "If it's another gallon of water, count me out."

You grabbed a small pot and pour water in it to place over the stove, cranking the heat up. You rolled your eyes when you heard Henry's response. "It's not water. It's to sooth your throat and stop your coughing immediately."

You heard shuffling come closer as you pulled honey out of the cabinet. "Oh, yeah," he said, "I heard honey soothes the throat."

"Exactly," you smiled, "And all the more reason to put it in your drink."

"Wait, what?" he burst out.

"Have you ever heard of honey lemon tea?"

"I think I'll go back to the water."

"Henry," you warned.

"Fine, fine, I'll drink your damn tea," he huffed. You giggled at his stubbornness. He couldn't help but smile from your laugh.

There was a content silence as you stirred the ingredients together. As each minute past by, the air was getting stronger with the smell of the beverage freshly made.

"I'm going to be completely honest," you started, "This smell almost makes me miss my old home."

Almost.

Henry hesitated, "Did you used to make honey lemon tea a lot?"

You walked over to a timer and set it for a few minutes for the tea. "No, but my mother did," you smiled sadly, "She made it a lot when I was sick." You chuckled to yourself from a fond memory you had. "She helped me make it for a friend who was always sick," you giggled to yourself when you remember Henry's younger face smiling at you, "He was so happy when he tried it. He nearly drank the whole po--"

You felt arms wrap around your shoulders as his weight made you jolt slightly, catching you off guard. You looked to your right side where Henry hung his head over your shoulder.

"Henry?" you questioned.

"He was probably one of the most luckiest guys," he mumbled after a pause.

You stood there and looked at him while blinking your eyes several time. The silent pause was interrupted by your outburst of laughter when you realized what Henry meant.

"What's so funny?" he asked in all seriousness.

"Well," you breathed, trying to catch your breath back, "It's just--"

The buzzer went off interrupting what you were going to say. The buzzer made Henry loosen his hold on you and you slipped away at the chance. You smiled knowingly towards his direction. He responded with raising a questioning eyebrow.

"Tea is ready," you called. You grabbed a ladle and poured it into a china teacup that had a purple stand and a gold handle. You handed it to Henry with a genuine smile.

"Thanks," Henry mumbled, breathless from your smile. He took a cautious sip out of the tea but he froze with his eyes wide, staring at the golden liquid. You stared in surprise when Henry suddenly downed the whole drink in one gulp. You squeaked when Henry grabbed you around the waist and pulled you in so he could wrap his lips around yours. You kissed back after your shock.

He pulled away from you too quickly and laid his forehead against yours while he looked down at you. You looked up into his forest green eyes while he stared into your [eye color] eyes. This time he leaned in slower so you could follow. The two of you met halfway, softer this time. He pulled away again. He watched as your eyes slowly open to meet his.

"It was you," he breathed.

You shared the same breath. "You remember," you said.

"You mean you remember?" he asked surprised, "When did you--?"

"When you were having the hiccups," you answered.

He chuckled to himself, "Figures." He looked down at you again before wrapping his arms tighter around you and laying his head on your shoulder. "I can't believe it's you," he said.

You returned the embrace by wrapping your arms around his neck. You felt him sigh against you as he snuggled into the croak of your neck because of your warmth. "I'm back, Hiccup." You felt Henry slightly tighten his grip on you when he heard you.

"I'm home..."
