Chapter 13 getting the spark back
“How are you?” Sean starts
“I’m okay, what about you?”
“I’m ok, helping my dad sort out Jake”
“Is he going to uni” he looks down at the floor, did I say something wrong?
“He passed away last Wednesday” oh that’s what was wrong
“I’m sorry” he sat staring at the floor for a while, I touched his face to see if he’d look at me and I was right
“I wish you could remember everything Franny” and he put his hand on my cheek
“So do I” I say uncomfortably, he takes it away “Tell me everything then” I whisper and he tells me everything about me and him, I know a little bit more about our relationship, it’s quite nice!
“I love you Fran” and he kisses me on the lips
“I don’t know what to say”
“It’s alright for now, when all your memories come back then you can really say it and mean it” I smile hoping it does otherwise I’ll feel really guilty
