Chapter 10

It has been a couple days, and we had all left the cabin. I was pretty sad though since it was so much fun hanging around with everyone, but I was kinda happy about it cause I finally get to sleep in my own bed. We've mostly been hanging around in the lake on the past few days before we left. We were all back in LA now, and everything went back to the way it was. It's also close to thanksgiving, so I'm gunna have to take a plane back to New Jersey soon. Oh how much I'm gunna be tired after all these days...

It was now currently noon time, and Grayson called me asking if we could go out to lunch together during his lunch break. I was kinda happy since him and Ethan have been busy ever since we've gotten back, and I finally get time to spend with Grayson. So I took a break from my studying, and started heading to his work building.

I drove in my car, and it was only gunna take about 10-15 minutes. As I stopped at a stop light, I heard my phone ringing. I picked it up from the cupholder, and I noticed my mom was calling. I felt pretty happy, since we haven't talked in quite a while. I slid my thumb over the screen, and put my phone to my ear. "Hey mom!" I said excitedly.

"Hey sweetie!" she said in a happy tone. "How's everything?"

"It's awesome!" I told her. "I have so much to tell you." The light then turned green, and I started driving again. "Really?" she exclaimed. "I can't wait to see you when you come down for thanksgiving."

"Me neither," I said smiling.

"Now I gotta ask you, have you thought of a date yet for Alex's wedding?" she asked me. I totally forgot about Alex's wedding, but it's after thanksgiving. My moms also been wanting me to show up with a date for his wedding, and I wasn't so sure about it. I guess this could be the time when I tell her about Grayson. "About that, I think I have someone in mind," I told her.

"Oh, what's his name?" she asked eagerly.

"Well, you actually know him," I started, and I actually felt myself feel a bit nervous. "It's Grayson. Remember him?" She didn't say anything for the next couple moments.

"Oh, yes I do!" she answered. "You guys met?"

"Yeah, I met him at some party. Well I met his brother, but we all hung out together and that's how we met again," I told her. "And it's been a while, so...we're together again."

"But I thought you guys broke up before. I remember you telling me you wanted nothing to do with him once he moved," she replied. She did have a point, but things changed. "Well yeah, but it's been 3 years mom. I did feel like that, but once we've met, I started to get my feelings back for him," I explained to her. "And he started to get them too, and we finally got back together again."

"Well, whatever makes my daughter happy. I'm happy you've found him again Adriana," she said, and I smiled to myself. I knew she was smiling on the other line. I thanked her, and we talked a bit more about the wedding and when I'm coming down. By the time I made it to the work building, I ended the call, and I started heading for the entrance once I parked my car. Grayson also gave me a pass to get in, just so anyone who works here won't think I'm fans trying to sneak in or anything, cause that actually did happen once the first time I came here by myself.

I started heading to the room Gray and Ethan were working in, and I entered in there. Everything was basically like set for recording a tv or movie. Its pretty cool coming in here. I soon found Ethan, and he was near the food table. Of course he would be there. I didn't see Grayson with him, but I headed over to him anyway. He gave me a hug once he noticed me, and we talked a little bit. "Where's Gray?" I asked him.

"Finishing a scene," he replied. "I finished mine, so I'm starting my lunch break."

"I can tell since you started stuffing yourself with donuts," I laughed, and he smiled in embarrassment. We talked a bit more, but a few minutes later, I felt someone's arms wrap around me. I instantly knew it was Grayson, and I felt him kiss my neck. "Hey baby," I heard him murmur into my neck. The little things he does kills me inside...

I giggled, and said, "Hey." He started to kiss my neck some more, and I tried to pull away, but it was hard cause he kept leading me on for him to do it. I then heard someone clear their throat, indicating for us to stop what we're doing. Grayson pulled away from me, and we both saw Ethan staring at us with his arms crossed. "Can you guys not fuck in public and save that for tonight?"

I looked away embarrassed. But I did end up letting out a few giggles. "Alright Eth," I heard Grayson say sternly towards him. "Anyways, we're going out to lunch. See you after." We both waved bye to him, and we started heading out to my car. We decided on going out to the restaurant we went to together the day after the beach, and we made it there in a few minutes. We just talked during the ride, and had the radio playing in the background. We soon got seats at the restaurant, and ordered our meals.

After a while from eating our lunch, we had finally finished it. It mostly consisted of us talking about something random, and I soon noticed Grayson pulling out some money. "Gray don't do that," I protested. "I can pay."

"No, let me," he said. "I'm the boyfriend here." We both laughed.

"I know, but I don't like it when people pay for me," I whined.

"Adriana, your my princess. I need to treat you like one," he smirked, and I looked away smiling and giggling. By the time he put some money down on the table, we both decided on going for a walk down the streets of LA. We were walking hand in hand, swinging our hands back and forth like those couples in movies. "So you and Ethan are going down to New Jersey for thanksgiving right?" I asked Grayson. I looked up at him, as he looked down at me.

"Yeah, are you?" he asked me, and I nodded my head in agreement. "Good, cause my parents are having thanksgiving at their house. You and your family should come," he smiled.

"I'll make sure," I smiled, and so did he. "But what I wanted to tell you is that Alex is having his wedding a couple days after thanksgiving. Remember him and his girlfriend Vanessa?"

"Oh yeah, I remember them," he said. "How come you never told me they were getting married?"

"I don't know, it just never came to me in thought," I laughed. "I literally just remembered about their wedding when my mom called me earlier about it."

"Oh, well I'm really happy for them," he smiled. I smiled back again also, feeling joy inside me knowing that he feels happy about their marriage. "But about it, my moms been begging me to bring a date to it," I told him, and I saw him smirk.

"And who's this date your taking?"

"I was really hoping I could take you since ya know...were together and all," I said giggling. "So what do you think? Can you come with me please?"

"Of course babe," he said smiling. "We can get a first look on our big day." I looked at him shocked, thinking of us getting married. I wouldn't be complaining, but I'm not totally sure if I'd spend the rest of my life him just yet. "You really think that day will come to us one day?" I asked him.

"I don't think it will, I know it will," he said smirking. "It won't be for a while, you know that right?" I said giggling a little.

"Yeah I know," he replied. "But I already know for sure that I wanna spend my entire life with you." I have no idea how to respond with that. But I gave him a really meaningful smile, thinking almost the same thing.
