After that little moment I had at the beach, I finally tried putting that negative stuff behind me, and focus on being positive from now on. But I kinda doubt it'll work... Ethan did help me get over that sorta, and we headed back to everyone else at our spot. We went in the water many times during the rest of the day, and spent our time out in the sun. It actually made me think less about Grayson being gone, and made me focus on hanging with my friends.

It has been a couple days, and Grayson and I have been keeping in touch, but not so much. He's getting really busy filming down in Chicago, and he's been calling me on his free time. And it's also not a long break, and our conversations seem short. It does make be feel a bit down only talking a little to him, but I understand how he's getting really busy with it.

I was in my apartment right now doing school work, as usual. I actually wanted to go out and do something, but everyone was busy. Julia was out working, along with Nate. I was debating on calling Ethan, mainly since we're getting a bit closer, but I assumed he was at work since he never answered my text.

It was until there was a knock at my door, and it took me out of my thoughts about my schoolwork. I moved my laptop off my lap, and I got up, heading towards the front door wondering who would be there. I gripped the door handle, turning it, and opening the door. There stood Ethan, and my hopes were soon brought back up. "Ethan, hey!" I exclaimed, smiling a bit big.

"Hey," he smiled. "I got your text earlier. I was out at work filming some extra stuff. Sorry I couldn't answer."

"It's fine," I assured him. "So why'd you stop by?"

"Well I was gunna get to that," he chuckled, and I giggled. "I decided on stopping by here to take you out to the pier. I called up some friends to see if they wanted to go, so we could just meet them there."

"Well this is why you should text me, cause then I'll know when to get ready," I rolled my eyes, but I ended up laughing, and so did he. I entered him into the apartment, and I said to him, "I'll be out in 5 minutes." He nodded, and I headed into my room. I changed into jean shorts, with a white flowy tank top, matched with my black sandals. I then put my hair in a quick braid, and added some extra mascara to my eyes. As soon as I was done, I grabbed my phone, and met Ethan out in the living room, who was on his phone. He looked up at me as I approached him, and he said, "You look really nice."

I felt myself smile, yet blush a little at the same time. "So your saying I don't look really nice all the time?"

"Well, no, I didn't mean it like that..." he started.

"I'm just kidding, but thanks," I giggled, and I saw him smile. "Now leggo." We soon headed out of my apartment, and we headed outside to his car. He got in the drivers side, while I got in the passengers. He started driving off, and we started talking about something random.

After about 15 minutes, Ethan pulled into the parking lot. We both soon got out, heading towards the pier entrance. We decided on getting our tickets first, mainly since the line for it was getting a bit longer. Once I finished paying for mine, Ethan and I started walking slowly towards some rides. "So where's the friends you said were coming?" I asked him.

"Oh," he said, staring down at his phone. "I guess they can't make it. They just texted me saying that had some errands to do." His facial expression looked a bit different, like he wasn't telling the truth or something.

"Or are you just saying those 'friends' couldn't make it, just so it could be us two here?" I asked him, raising an eyebrow.
