"No way, you met Ethan?!" Julia exclaimed. I was on my way to the coffee shop Ethan had suggesting, but I was dying to tell Julia about it. I didn't tell Julia during or after the party cause she was literally crazy... I didn't want to make any situation worse by telling her I met Ethan there.
"Yes," I said trying to calm her down. "You sound like a fan of his." We both started laughing.
"Well yeah, but it's crazy how you've met him. Did you meet Grayson too?" My facial expression went went away pretty quick after that. I also felt my heart beat a little bit faster.
"No..." I started. "I just met Ethan last night. But I'm meeting him right now at some coffee shop so we can catch up on things."
"Is Grayson going?" Her and all her questions about Grayson...
"I don't know, but I hope not."
"Why not?" she asked a little sadly. "You need to meet him too."
"Ugh, I don't know. It'll just be weird if we met since we've dated," I told her. "It's worse I met Ethan, but I'll end up fainting if I met Grayson." She started laughing. She came closer to me, and gave me a quick, but long lasting hug.
"I should probably let you go," she said during the hug. "But you'll be fine. No worries," she smiled as she pulled away. I smiled big at how she was comforting me. I soon grabbed my phone and car keys, and said my final goodbyes to Julia.
I walked out of our apartment, and over to my car. I put the key in ignition, and started pulling out of the garage. I then put in the address of the coffee shop Ethan texted me on my phone, and it started giving me the directions to it.
During the whole ride, I was kinda freaking out about what could happen. I also started to play some music from the radio to get my mind off of it, and it sorta worked.
After about a 10 minute ride, I pulled up to a Starbucks. Of course it would be this kind of coffee shop, I thought to myself. I soon parked my car in the parking lot, and got out. I started walking towards the entrance, feeling my heart beat a bit faster than before. I literally have no idea why I'm feeling like this though...
As I entered through the front entrance, a bell rang from opening the door, and someone behind the front desk greeted me as I walked in. I smiled for thanking them, and I started to look across the room to see if I spotted Ethan. I'm about 10 minutes late since Julia led me onto the conversation before I left, so he must be here already.
When my eyes wandered over to a booth seat, I saw someone sitting alone, looking exactly like Ethan. Same features and everything from where I was standing, so it must be him. I started walking over towards him, and it started to look more and more like him as I got closer. I soon made it to the booth, and I stood in front of him, and I saw him scrolling through Twitter on his phone. "Hey," I said as I made it closer to him.
He looked up at me smiling a little saying, "Hi." He then stood up, and said, "Let's get a drink, shall we?"
I laughed, and said, "I guess so." We then went over to wait in line, and he asked, "What would you like?"
"I'm not sure," I said. "I never really came here before." His mouth literally dropped, and I let out a few giggles.
"How?" he asked. "I come here all the time." He laughed and I smiled.
"I just never really cared for Starbucks," I laughed, and I saw him put his hand over his heart like he got shot.
"You just killed me with that sentence," he laughed.
"Awe I'm sorry," I laughed slightly. It was then our turn to order, and I had no idea what to get. I saw Ethan order two drinks of the same thing, and now I feel bad since he's paying for me. A few minutes later, the worker behind the counter gave us the two drinks, and Ethan paid. We then went over to the booth seat Ethan was sitting at before, and I sat in the seat across from him. "You really didn't need to pay for me," I told him.
"My treat," he smiled, and I just looked away smiling. I then took a sip of my drink, and it tasted so good. "You like?"
"Mhm," I said in agreement. "So, what's new?"
"Same old acting," Ethan replied. "Grayson and I take this acting job, and we film some couple short scenes or be extras. It's just for like some commercials or short films."
"That's still good," I told him. "Have you guys ever played in a big part for something?"
"Well, we try," he laughed, and so did I. "We try out for them, but we usually never make the parts. I think it's mainly cause we're not professional actors, but I mean, what's the difference?"
"Yeah, true," I agreed. "I think you guys would make those big parts though," I said with a sympathetic smile.
He started to smile after I said that. "Thanks for the support." It was a little silent between us for a moment, until he mentioned, "I think it's mainly cause we came from Vine, and Vine is just like not as professional as what they would do."
"But it's still acting, right?" I asked a little confused.
"Yeah, that's what we both said," he chuckled. "I don't know. The acting career isn't as easy as it seems," he laughed a little and so did I. We both took a sip of our drinks, and he soon asked, "Enough about me, now what about you? I know you said you take online college, but is there anything else you do?"
"Well... I basically just do the online college," I giggled, and so did he. "I would take a part time job, but since I'm almost close to ending, it's getting a lot tougher and I don't think I can handle a job too."
"Oh," he said. "You just do that all day?"
"Not all day, but you get what I mean," we both laughed. "I do some work and I take some breaks, mainly cause of Julia. She always wants me to go out and do something with her."
"Well you can't spend your whole time stressing and worrying about college," he said.
"Yeah, but it's like all the time Julia wants me to go out and do something with her... It's just like most of the time I wanna be alone and focus on my school work."
"Well you need to get out more and spend all your moments with the good ones instead of the ones that stress you out over college. Julia's actually a really good friend for noticing and doing that," he smiled slightly, and it caused me to do the same.
"That's actually right. It always hits me and I try to realize that when someone says that," I giggled, and I saw him smile.
"How about this?" he started. "Me and my buddies are going to the beach tomorrow. You and Julia should come."
"Hm... I don't know," I shrugged my shoulders. "I have a paper to type and send to my professor."
"Adriana," he said stretching out my name. "Are you just saying that so you don't have to hang out with me?" he asked with a little smirk. Okay, I have to admit that looked pretty attractive when he gave that smirk.
"What? No," I tried saying casually. "I actually do have to type a paper for him. I was gunna do it yesterday, but I had to go to that stupid party with Julia."
"Well, if you stayed home to type that paper, you wouldn't have met me at that stupid party."
"True," I agreed, and he smiled.
"Now, will you please come tomorrow?" he asked once again. I thought for a minute. Well he really does want me to go... And I should spend my happy moments instead of stressing over things... Also if I say yes, it'll shut him up about me trying to go.
"Fine," I agreed. "We'll go tomorrow."
"Yes!" he squealed excitedly. I laughed at his reaction. "Thanks bup."
"Bup?" I asked, still laughing.
"Oh, that's just a nickname me and my brother have for each other," he explained. "I just felt like calling you that." Bup sounds like a really cute nickname to be honest though.
"Guess I joined the club now," I laughed, and so did he. We started talking some more about other things, and it actually made me think that we were getting a bit closer, but not that much. Now the only other thing I have to worry about tomorrow is just the paper I have to type after the beach. Hopefully nothing else will worry me about tomorrow...
