Adriana's POV

It was now another day in LA, and it's been about 5 days since Grayson left. I've been a nervous wreck ever since he left, and I'm still sad over the situation. I'm trying my best to stay positive, but it's so hard not to when he's gone. We have been keeping in touch though. He's been calling me at any moment he can and checking on me. On the other hand, I've been constantly trying to get in contact with him. I know, desperate much. But it's just so hard not hearing from my baby anymore.

I tried calling him a few times today, and he hasn't been picking any of them up. I then decided that I should give him a break, and work on my college studies. Grayson must be working right now on the movie, so that's probably why he hasn't been picking up my calls. I guess having him away from me is helping me work more for school.

I was currently typing up a paper for my professor, and I was very close to finishing. As I was, Julia had barged into my room saying, "We're going to the beach, wanna come?"

"What do you mean by 'we're'?" I asked her.

"Me, Nate, and Ethan. And you, you should come with us," she replied.

"I don't know," I told her. I've been feeling pretty down over how Grayson left, which is making me not want to do anything lately. "I'm working on stuff for school."

"Please Adriana," she pleaded. "You've been working on your stuff for school for the past week ever since Grayson left."

"Please don't mention how he left..." I started. "It's constantly on my mind, I don't need you guys all talking about it around me to make it worse."

"I'm sorry, but you need to get out and do something," she told me, sitting next to me on my bed. "You can't just mope around here being heartbroken about it."

"That's not all I'm doing," I said, gesturing my laptop towards her. She sighed.

"I understand, but we don't want you to get sick from staying home all day. You need to come hang with us, get some sun," she said providing a smile. "You could save school for later. We just want to get you out of your shell and hang with us."

I sighed also, and said, "I guess so..."

"Great!" she said, standing up. "Now get ready! The guys are waiting outside for us." I did as she said, and I searched for a bathing suit to wear. Once I found a cute bikini to wear, I soon changed into it. I also put my hair in a ponytail, and I didn't decide on putting any makeup. I soon pulled shorts and a tank top over me, and I slipped on my brown sandals.

I then grabbed an extra towel, along with my phone, and I met Julia outside my room. "That's my girl! Now let's go," she said. I rolled my eyes as she dragged me out of our apartment, and she took me outside to the entrance of the apartment building. We then walked towards the corner of it, and Nate was parked on the side of the street. Julia got in the passengers seat, so I got into the back. Ethan was sitting in the back also, and said towards me, "Hey."

"Hi," I replied, trying to provide a smile. Nate started driving off, and we all had a random conversation. I wasn't really paying attention to what they were talking about, and all I kept thinking about was about Grayson leaving... It's so hard not to think about it.

All my thoughts about it got interrupted once Nate pulled into a beach parking lot. We all got out, and started walking down the path that lead to the beach entrance. I lugged behind them, not wanting to be here. I just wanna be with Grayson right now.

We soon walked over to a spot, and put our stuff down here. I took my shorts and tank top off, leaving me just in my bathing suit. I then laid my towel down for me to lay on. As I was, Ethan said, "Your not coming in the water with us?"
