Chapter 37

It's been a few days ever since that fight Grayson and I had. He never tried any other way to get in contact with me after I blocked his number, and he never showed up at my doorstep either. I'm kinda glad he never did, but yet again I kinda wish he did... Anyways, it was now another sunny day in LA, and everyone was heading to the beach today. The whole gang was going, and I didn't really wanna go so I won't have to face Grayson and his stupid girlfriend that'll tag along. But of course everyone else led me to go, so I ended up going. A few extra people tagged along with us, which is Jack, Aaron, and Ethan's new girlfriend Alicia. She's actually really nice and sweet, unlike Chloe who's a bitch.

I rode along with Julia and Nate to the beach, and we met everyone else there. They were all playing a volley ball game, and I went over to the group once I stripped down to my bikini. "Hey Adriana!" I heard Alicia call out.

I went over to her, and smiled, "Hey!" We both waved, and she smiled. "Oh, hey Adriana," I heard someone else say, and I turned my head to where it was coming from. I saw Chloe on my other side giving one of her stupid smirks, and even Grayson by her side. "Hi," I said rolling my eyes.

"Alright! Enough dilly dallying, lets get back to the game!" Jack called out, and a few of us laughed. We all got in our positions, and Jack served the ball over. Alicia hit it back over, and Nate tried hitting it back on our side, but he missed. His team groaned, while I high fived Alicia for making a point. We then hurried back into our positions, and Julia served the ball over to our side. Ethan hit it over this time, and Aaron shot it back over to our side. The next thing I saw coming at me was the ball. "I got it!" I called out as I put out my arms to hit it. But the next thing that came was feeling pushed onto the sand, and I saw Chloe hit the ball back over. She then turned back over to me, and said, "Oops, my bad."

I sighed of annoyance, and stood up saying, "I called for the ball. That was my shot," and crossing my arms.

"Well, it looks like you missed honey," she shrugged. "Maybe next time."

I shook my head, and said, "I called for the ball since it was coming towards my direction. Obviously, I wouldn't be able to miss it if you didn't push me out of the way."

"Alright! Alright!" I heard Grayson say a bit louder. "Enough." I just rolled my eyes once again, and continued on with the game.

After hours of being at the beach, it's actually been pretty fun, other than being annoyed from Chloe and Grayson. We were all in the water right now, playing a game of chicken. I was about to play a round with someone with me on Aaron's shoulders. "Who wants to play against us?" Aaron called out.

"We will!" I heard Chloe answer, holding onto Grayson. His face looked annoyed, and I wouldn't blame him. I soon went onto Aaron's shoulders, and Chloe went on Grayson's. She gave me an evil smirk, and I just flashed a dirty look towards her since she's acting so childish. I don't get why she keeps looking at me like that, cause it's annoying and not a pretty face to look at. "Ready, set, go!" Ethan said.

Chloe and I went at each other, trying to push each other off. I decided to not be nice this time, and actually try to push her off a bit violently. But suddenly, I was the person who got pushed off violently. I fell right into the water, almost drowning myself since a huge wave passed by. But thankfully, I got up for air just in time. "Good job babe!" I heard Grayson say to her. I saw him kiss her cheek, while she gave a wink towards me. I just flashed her my finger before anyone else was looking. "What was that Adriana?" I heard Jack say to me. "You always win chicken fights."

"Don't know, maybe it was just the wave," I shrugged.

"The wave passed by once you fell off," he replied in a 'duh' tone, and I just shrugged my shoulders.
