A few weeks have passed, and pretty few things have happened during these past few weeks. I have been doing a lot of work for school, so I'm really caught up with everything for it. I've also been spending a lot of time hanging with my friends, especially Ethan. We've all been doing many things, but Ethan and I have been getting a bit closer.
Grayson and I have been calling each other, but Grayson is getting busier by the second, which means we haven't been keeping in touch as much as we used to. But he has still been checking up on me once in a while, and I've been doing the same with him. When we have, our conversations were getting very short, almost making it awkward between us.
Any ways, I don't feel that sad about it, mainly cause I've been spending most of my time with Ethan. But it still bothers me at some moments, cause I still do miss him, and I don't hear his voice that often. That's why I've been with Ethan a lot, since he's been making me a bit happier about getting over it.
I was currently at the beach with the guys and Julia, and Jack and Aaron had joined us this time. We came here a lot earlier to get a spot since there's more of us, and it's getting towards the middle of the day. We had went into the water multiple times, and stayed out in the sun. We were all in the water right now, playing chicken. I was on Ethan's shoulders, fighting against Julia who was on Nate's. It was a bit weird being on Ethan's shoulders cause I was getting a weird feeling with his hands on my thighs. "Ready... Set... Go!" Aaron shouted, and Julia and I started to go at each other, trying to push each other off their shoulders.
Soon enough, I had pushed Julia off of Nate's shoulders, and she fell into the water. We all laughed, and I carefully got off of Ethan's shoulders. "Good job!" Ethan smiled, holding his hand in the air. I high-fived him, saying the same thing back to him. We played some more games, but we soon got out of the water since Jack keep complaining and wanting to get ice cream. We all dried ourselves, and I grabbed my phone and a couple dollars of money. We then all started walking towards the concession stand, and got in line for it.
We all talked about something random as we waited in line, and everyone had ordered their ice cream. Once it was my turn, I ordered a cup of chocolate ice cream. I was about to hand my money to the girl behind the counter to pay for it, but Ethan behind me had already handed her the money. I turned around towards him giving him a 'why did you do that' look, while he just smirked back at me. Ethan had quickly ordered his cup of ice cream as I got out of line with my cup, and he followed me to a table with Julia and the rest of the guys. I sat right next to Julia, while Ethan sat in the chair next to me. Everyone else started talking about something stupid trending on Twitter, but I wasn't really paying attention to it.
"You know, you didn't have to do that," I said towards Ethan, gesturing my cup of ice cream in the air indicating how he paid for it.
"What if I wanted to?" he said, putting the smirk back on his face.
I sighed. "I had enough money for it," I giggled.
"Well maybe a friend just wanted to pay for another friend," he added, creating that smirk of his bigger. I rolled my eyes, but ended up letting out a few giggles. Ethan and I soon joined in their conversation after. Jack and Aaron then finished up their ice cream first, mainly Jack since they were eating it so quickly. "We're going back in the water," Jack said.
"We literally just got out," Julia laughed.
"So?" Aaron sassed, and we all let out a couple laughs.
"What ever," Julia replied.
"I'll go in with you since I'm done eating," Nate said as he stood up.
