I was soon snapped out of my thoughts hearing a door being closed loudly. What is Harry's problem with door? He seems to hate them as much as he hates me. Every time he closes one when he's mad you would think the door could brake.

I turned back at Tyler who looked a bit unpleasant with Harry's behavior. I saw how much it was bothering him, so I didn't ask him anything about the file. He would probably tell me when he was ready. We always tell each other everything at some point.

"Sorry about that, Harry and I just had a minor disagreement." He said opening a drawer in his desk placing the file inside.

"It's fine." I said looking down at my hands smiling lightly. "How long has he been working in the company?" I ask curiously raising my head.

"About four years now. He's been a lot longer than I have been." He said shifting in his seat.

"You never mentioned you knew Harry...neither did dad." I said lowly. At first I thought he hadn't heard me because there was silence for a few seconds.

"I've never really been a fan of Harry's attitude." He simply said.

"So why don't fire him if his such a burden." I asked not able to control my mouth as it kept asking questions.

"Because he is needed in this company." He simply said.

What was his deal? He seemed to be uncomfortable talking about Harry, or maybe it was just my crazy imagination. Yet he changed the topic, so was I really that crazy?

"So, how's mom?"

Did I fail to mention Tyler hasn't talked to my mom since my dad died? Well I mean, they've exchanged a couple of words here and there, like the day Tyler sent us the apartment pictures. Nevertheless since my dad died their relationship just wasn't the same and I never knew why.

"Oh she's really good. She calls every two or three days asking me how I am and how is the job treating me and such."

"That's great." He said looking down as if this topic made him uncomfortable too. Why did he ask for mom then? Perhaps he just wanted to know how she was, after all Tyler's always been an extraordinary brother and a marvelous son.

"She asks for you, you know?" I tried to stop the words that had just left my mouth but it was already too late.

I noticed how his head snapped up looking back at me. He seemed happy because of what I said yet I could notice a hint of sadness in his eyes. I knew my brother to well.

"Really?"

"Is it really that hard to believe Tyler? I mean, c'mon it's mom. The women who loves us more than anything." I said raising an eyebrow at how surprised he was.

"What happened between you two Ty? You never told me?" I asked hopefully expecting him to be sincere with me and answer my question.

"Everything happened. When-" He was about to finally explain everything to me but was soon interrupted by his phone ringing loudly. He answered before looking back at me.

"Sorry Em, I have a meeting to get to. Can I suggest we reschedule? Maybe over dinner on Friday? I promise to tell you everything." He said smiling at me and I nodded looking back into his honey eyes.

I left the room and went back to my office.

"Shit. I have that pizza thing with Kath and the others." I said remembering back to earlier.

I would have to rearrange everything with them. Cause right now an explanation from Tyler was all I wanted.
