"Excuse me. I heard someone was in need of cookie therapy so I came to the rescue."
"Our hero." I said jokingly rolling my eyes as I watched as he entered with a batch of cookies on each hand.
"This one is for the pretty lady and this one is for you." He said giving my mom and me both a bag full of cookies.
"Oh my God Harry are you flirting with my mom?" I said my eyes big jokingly. Harry just went with it and smirked at my mom as she smirked back at him. "I was joking Harry you can stop now, this is really creeping me out." I said making a horrified face.
"Jealous?" He asked raising an eyebrow at me. What was up with him these days? He was acting so nice lately.
"You wish." I said grinning back at him as I took a bite from the cookie that I held in my hand.
"Harry dear are you not going to eat some?" My mom asked noticing he just stood there looking at us, as we ate with his hands empty.
"Oh no, I'm not a cookie lover. Though truth be told, I'm known to be a great companion." Harry answered taking a seat besides my mom. She couldn't help but laugh. Something had changed between them. Friday night you could feel the tension in the air. What had changed?
"So you are not very fond of cookies?" I asked astonished. I mean, who in the world didn't like cookies?
"Nope."
"Have you tried this one's before?"
"Nope."
"Then you haven't lived my friend." My mom and I said at the same time as she took a cookie from her bag and handed it to him. He was a bit resistant at first but he took it after a few seconds sticking it in his mouth.
"So?" I asked curious as he chewed the cookie in his mouth.
"Best chocolate cookie I've ever tried in my entire life." He said moaning, as he stood up from his seat leaning forward taking another one from my bag.
"Hey, those are mine." I said frowning teasingly.
"You were the one who made me try them, now you have to deal with me stealing your cookies." He said being the smartass he sometimes was. "Gosh now I know what Niall was talking about, these are glorious." He said as he chewed on another one.
"Well I think it was enough cookie therapy for me. I'll head to the apartment now." My mom said standing up form her seat.
"Okay, bye mom. I love you" I said smiling at her as she walked out of my office leaving me with a chewing Harry in front of me.
"So, was it that bad?" Harry asked referring to the Tyler situation.
"Ugh. Horrible." I said sulking. "I brought mom so Tyler and her could go back to what they were. Now my mom is convinced Tyler hates her." I explained. I wasn't sure why I was telling Harry this, but somehow something had changed between him and I too.
