"You sure take time to change Emma." Scarlett said lying on the bed looking up at the ceiling as she waited for me to get changed. "By the way how did the Tyler thing go?" She asked picking herself up and sitting down.

"It went well." I answered as I remembered how Tyler drove mom to Concrete Enterprises so I could say bye before she left.

"Have a safe flight mom." I said hugging her closely. "Don't forget to call." I said as I pulled away.

"Not in a million years." She said smiling at me sadness in her eyes.

I knew it would be hard for her to go back home. I mean staying in a house by her own could probably be very lonely. Even though she had Alfred there it still wasn't the same. I would probably go visit her later on December, after all it's Christmas.

"Well then I'll see you soon Mom. I love you." I said smiling at her as she gave me one last hug and jumped in the car.

"Emma thank-" Tyler was about to say from the drivers seat once the passenger's window was down but I stopped him before he could say anything.

"We'll talk later Ty. Drive safely." I said knowing what he wanted to tell me but there was no need.

"So in other words everything went perfect."

"You couldn't have said it better." I smiled. Tyler seemed so happy and mom did too. Finally everything was slowly going back to it's place.

"I really think you should wear that Emma. It looks amazing on you." Scarlett said as I looked at myself in her room's mirror.

"You just bought it a couple of weeks ago. You haven't even tried in on yourself. I can't wear this."

So after Harry's fight I decided I definitely needed a girl's night out. A night where I would get drunk and forget every fucking thing that was driving me crazy right now. So in other words, Harry.

"Oh c'mon Emma. Black suits you. You will have every single guy's eyes on you tonight. Just wear it or I won't go." She said trying to encourage me.

"Well you are my ride." I said finally giving up.

At first we were actually going to eat something, probably get some pizza or something like that. Yet when Harry left I kind of told Scarlett everything that happened and she said she would take me out so I could get drunk and forget about it and she would make sure to stay sober, since she was the one with the car.

"Great. Then let's go because time is running out." She said as we both walked out of her apartment and into her car heading to Greenhouse Club. Scarlett said it was amazing.

"What are you talking about? We have the whole night." I asked confused.

"I think my mom is coming tonight."

"So my mom leaves and your mom arrives. How is she?"

"She's okay. I mean she's mom. She's just not very happy about where I work at. Actually where I work at is not much of a problem, it's actually what I do at work." She said explaining but I couldn't quite get why.

"Would you care to elaborate?"

"I'm a journalist." And the fact that she said that like it was nothing surprised me a bit. I thought she loved her job.

"I thought you liked your job."

"It's not like that. I love working as a journalist. I learn so much things about everything. It just fills me with a lot of information and I get to share that with the world. Show them how special small things can be or how wrong you can actually be about something. It's been eye-opening." She said thoughtfully.
