"Emma I don't think we should be doing this." My mom said standing by my side.
"Mom stop being such a scary cat and walk." I said pulling her by her arm but she just stood there frozen looking up at the tall building in front of her.
"It's to soon honey. I don't think he wants to talk to me." She said standing her ground.
"Mom c'mon. If you go in with me I'll buy you some cookies from a few blocks from here." Her head immediately snapped my way.
"Cookies? As in the cookies we used t-"
"Yup, the same ones." I said trying to contain my laughter as she frowned. What did she expect, she was my mom, I knew all of her weakness.
"Fine you got me." She said rolling her eyes at me like a little girl. I thought after so much time, seeing my dad's company again, would bring tears into her eyes, yet somehow it didn't. Maybe she was just trying to be strong, trying to show me that she no longer filled pain so I wouldn't worry.
"Emma." Teresa said spotting me with a big smile.
"Hey, I want you to meet my-"
"Mrs. Montclaire, of course, it's an honor to meet you." She said getting up, respectfully shaking her hand.
"It's nice to meet you too Teresa." My mom said shaking her hand.
"Should I notify Mr. Montclaire about your arrival?" She said already taking the phone in her hands ready to call.
"No!" We both screamed at the same time probably freaking Teresa out.
"I'm sorry Tes, it's just, we want it to be a surprise." I explained.
"Oh I completely understand though if he kills me then you'll be responsible for my death." She said jokingly. I think.
"Don't worry I'll have a coffin ready just in case." I said back jokingly but I couldn't help but notice how suddenly her face got so pale.
As we walked I noticed as my mom stared at everything around us. The plants, the people, even the elevator numbers.
The elevator numbers.
I have been so concentrated on Harry's strange mood changes that I had completely forgotten about the fifteenth floor. Why was my mom staring so intensively at the buttons? Did she know about the fifteenth floor? What did she know? Did she know something?

I woke up early in the morning smelling something incredibly delicious. I got up from my bed. Wait I was waking up from my bed? I don't remember sleeping on my bed last night, I thought to myself. Didn't I fall asleep on the couch yesterday night?
I walked towards the smell that made my stomach growl to find not only my mom cooking but a very messy looking Harry behind her.
