I didn't know what to think. We should always be prepared for everything. We should expect everything because we are never going to be completely sure of what can happen. Yet again you know what they always say, "the best things in life are unexpected."

Nevertheless I couldn't stop thinking of every scenario that could happen with mom and Tyler. I mean I expected the best, after all, I knew Tyler loved Mom and obviously Mom loves Tyler so that's basically what they need to work things out.

Although a nighty five percent of me knew there was a chance they would work it out, there was still that five percent that I was worried about. Looking at it in the worst of situations Tyler would fight with mom again, shout at her again and everything would happen all over again. They would no longer talk to themselves again, and everything would be ruined...again. Though Emma Montclaire never thinks negatively, so Emma Montclaire knows everything will turn out perfect. Now Emma Montclaire should really stop talking in third person. I seriously creeping myself out. I was some weird girl.

"What's got you all worked up?" I turned from the bunch of papers that would always be scattered around my desk making it look like a complete mess to the one person I hadn't talk to all day.

I saw Bianca Thompson arrive today to the office I'm not sure why, but I saw her talking to Niall which kind of made me smile since he likes her and all. I even talked to Matt when I bumped into him when I was getting my coffee. That's when I noticed that in fact, he was a coffee addict like the guys told me the first day I arrived. Now that I think about it I've been here working at Concrete Enterprises for a while now. I arrived in September and October was already coming to its end. Wow time flies.

I was actually pretty happy here in New York. I mean yes it was very very cold most of the time especially in this last months, but that's the least of my problems. I was slowly falling in love with everything here. I had new friends, which I adored, Tyler was here too and I had become used to the life here. That sounded so corny for my liking.

Sure I miss Mom a lot, but she was the one who insisted in the first place for me to come here and chase my dream. I know it wasn't exactly a dream, because the whole point of coming here to Concrete was to feel closer to my dad, but this place has not only become a happy reminder of what my father used to be but is has becomes my home.

Home is where the heart is.

"It's never late to find the answer up in the stars." Louis sang along to the song snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I said that out loud and blacked out again didn't I?" I asked chuckling noticing Louis was already sitting in a chair in front of me looking quite comfy as he held one of my pens in his hands using it as a microphone.

"Yup. You do that more frequently than you think Emma." He said putting the pen down on it's place, which is where I keep the rest of my extra pens and pencils as he looked back at me.

"So what is it today? Work, Tyler, your mom, Harry?" The way he said Harry's name made my eyebrows rise at him questioningly.

"Well if you should know it has nothing to do with Harry."

"Oh really? So it doesn't have to do with the fact that you two hooked up this morning?" He teased smirking.

"How in the world do you know about that? Only Scarlett knows and it's because-"

"Oh I thought it had nothing to do with Harry." He said grinning making me roll my eyes at him. "Sorry Em it's not my fault everyone knows everything about everyone in this company. Word literally spreads like a plague. Maybe you guys were to loud this morning." Louis said as the grin never left his face.
