A love/hate relationship

Hi my name is Tela (pronounced Tayla) and im 17. Im Puerto Rican ,black ,white and idian (picture on the side). I live in L.A. and go to Pembridge academy. But this year im transferring to a new school called Mindless school of the Arts for my senior year. Hopefully I can make it through this year. 

Tela P.O.V.

~Beep...Beep...Beep~ I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off and reached over to press the snooze button. 

Mom- Tela!!!!!

Me- *groans* What mom

Mom- Get your lazy tail up before your late for your first day at school

I suddenly remember that its my first day at Mindless school of the Arts. I pop up and try to get out of bed but my legs are tangled in the sheets so I end up falling out of bed making a loud "thud".

????- Haha thats what you get with yo fat self

Me- Shutup Trevor

Trevor- You cant make me ( sticks his tongue out)

Me - Ugghhh your so childish

Trevor walks down the hallway laughing. Btw Trevor is my twin brother. He's older by 3 minutes so he thinks he can control me. We have a lil sister named Sophie and she is only 7 but yet has an attitude of a 15 year old.

I get up and take a 15 minute shower. Then step out and wrap a towel around my body and do my hair. Its really curly and long so I just brush it into a bun on my head. I do my hygiene routine and go to my closet to pick out some clothes. Its the first day of school so I gotta look nice. Dress to impress right? Right. I look throught my clothes and decide on tribal print half shirt with my high waisted black shorts and black ballet flats. I looked in the mirror

Me- Oh yes I look good

I head downstairs grab an apple kiss my mom on the cheek and get ready to head out the door but im stopped by my mom

Mom- Tela can you do me a favor?

Me- Depends on what it is

Mom- I need you to take Sophie to a concert tonight

Me- What concert

Mom - Oh you know her favorite band crazy behavior or something like that ( looks off into space trying to think of their name) *snaps* Mindless behavior!!! Thats it.

Me- Mom im not taking her to tht concert you know I cant stand those boys they're to cocky and think they are all that just cause they famous

Mom- This isnt up for discussion your taking her

Me- Ugghh fine *mumbles something*

Mom- I heard that dont think your to old to get beat -_-

Me- *laughs* okay mom... Bye

I hop in my green range rover and drive to school. I pull up to this humongous building with kids outside dancing , singing, playing instruments and stuff. I park my car and take a deep breath then step out and lock it.

Instantly all eyes are on me. I nervously walk into the building and head into the main office to get my schedule.

Me- Um hi my name is Tela Faulkner and im new

???- Oh yea my name is Mrs.Burns and here is your schedule

Me- Thank you

Mrs.Burns- Your welcome... Do you need any help getting around

Me- Yea sure *thinks im not a baby*

Mrs.Burns - Ok * a pretty girl with straight black hair, green eyes, with a tan skin tone walks next to her* This is Charity she will show you around
