"Well that went better than I expected" Hanji stated as the five of us sat in a room and talked over future plans. Erwin walked up to me and knelt down so that he was eye level with me.
"I would like to officially welcome you to the Scouts. You have my respect."
My eyes widened as I stared at his eyebrows him and shook his hand. "Thank you Commander."
I was too occupied to notice the Corporal walk over and sit down next to me but still at a safe distance. "You're my responsibility now. Don't mess up." 'Wow. He's blunt.'
"Yes sir" I replied without a second thought.
"You took control when things were going downhill for us. You're okay in my book."
I sat there, shocked at the praise he rarely gave. "T-thank you Corporal!"
"Tch."
"Comeon, let's go back to HQ. Then we cantalk more about titans!" Hanji said excitedly. Mike nodded in approval and with that we left in pursuit of the SurveyCorps' HQ.
