I looked at Eren, staring into those breathtaking eyes.
“Yes I have. I’ve seen everything from green fields, to snow, to deserts, to the ocean.” Well, technically I’m not lying. They don’t have to know I was in another world when I saw those things.
Armin’s eyes widened as he stared at me with pure awe. “You’ve seen it?! The ocean?! What’s it like?! Is the water really made of salt?! What else is there?!”
“Calm down, Armin,” I giggled. “Yes, I have seen the ocean. I’ve actually swam in it a few times. I used to live less than half an hour away from the shore. It does have a high salt content, and I love watching the fish and other creatures swim around-“
“Other creatures?!”
“This will take a while.”
~*~Time skip because I don’t feel like writing things you probably already know~*~
I ended up sitting with them at lunch and dinner. Not many people ate though, considering it was the night of the graduation ceremony. The thirteen of us sat in silence for half an hour before being called to the ceremony. Only one thought circled in my mind: how many of them will still be alive after tomorrow? How many deaths will I be responsible for?
I was asked to stand on stage with Keith and the other officers since I was technically of a higher rank then the cadets. Ten cadets lined up in the front of the others and saluted as Shadis listed their names and ranks. Everyone got the rank I had predicted since there wasn’t any opportunity for those to change. Of course, no one else was really paying attention to what they were whispering except for me, what they said made me want to laugh and roll on the floor because I recognized it.
“I ranked below Mikasa” Eren said with a grimace.
“I ranked below Jaeger” Jean stated with the same facial expression.
“I ranked below everyone!” a certain cinnamon roll whispered.

Wow I haven't updated in forever. Well, here's a chapter. I'll be uploading a second one this afternoon. I'm also plotting something in the near future muahahaha.
