Waking up in AoT

Chapter 10

Forget A/N, let's jump right into this!

Dinner wasn’t exactly what I was used to, but it was better then what I got from the MPs when I was in that cell.  I got a loaf of bread and a bowl of soup (which didn’t taste nearly as bad as it looked).  The six of us sat at a table in a separate room from the dining hall so that we could discuss the role of the Special Operations Squad in the 56th expedition.  Levi and I sat at the heads of the table with Petra, Gunter, Eld, and Auruo also at the table.  It was quiet for the most part after Levi explained the alterations made.

There won’t be many days until they’re… well… gone.  I stared at my soup sadly while trying to think of how to save them.  Should I tell them they have, like, 6 weeks to live?  Nah, I’ll talk with Levi and Erwin later.  Let’s get through the 56th expedition before planning the 57th.

“So, you can basically see the future?” Gunter asked.

“Kind of.  I can see the future that was set out for you before I came here.  Anything can change now that different events are taking place.”

“Tch.  So you’re pretty much useless now?”  Wow.  Thanks Auruo.

“Auruo! That’s rude!” Petra exclaimed.

“It’s okay, don't worry about it. I won’t be completely useless. There are some things I know that won’t change, like the identities of the titan-shifters. Plus I could train as a soldier and fight like you all.”

“Titan-shifters?” Eld asked.

Whoops.  They would have figured it out anyway after Eren’s power is revealed, I might as well explain it now.

“Yes.  There are people who can shift back and forth between titan and human at will.  They typically have some sort of characteristic in their physical appearance that indicates that they are a human in a titan body.  There should be a cadet titan-shifter joining after the next expedition, his name is Eren and he (at the moment) doesn’t know he has this power.  It will be revealed in about a week in Trost where he will help us retake titan territory.”

Everyone stared at me, processing what I had just said.

“How many other titan-shifters are there?” Petra asked.

“There are at least 5 among the 104th trainees. I don’t know how many more there are inside the walls, but there is a whole village outside the walls. They’re the ones responsible for the titans and the people who sent the colossal titan, armored titan, and female titan to destroy the walls” I said matter-of-factly.

The room burst into yelling as questions were thrown at me.

“Female titan?!”

“5 titan shifters in the 104th?!  How many are joining the scouts?”

“There are people outside the walls?!”

“How do people get that ability?!”

“Tch. Can you all be quiet?” Levi interrupted.

A quiet “yes sir” reverberated throughout the room. That was the end of that discussion.

“Petra and Auruo; first thing tomorrow you will be training (f/n) with the 3DMG.  Let’s see if she would be a good addition to the squad.”

I sat there in shock along with the other members of the Levi Squad. Did he just say if I did well enough I could join his squad?!

“Yes Corporal” they said in unison before glaring at each other.

It was quiet again for another 5 or so minutes before Levi spoke 3 words that sent fear coursing through me.

“We’ve got company.”

3) I'm gonna regret this, but what ships do you want to be canon? Ima ask again in the next chapter, but I might start hinting at stuff soon.
