"My parents?" I squeaked
I hadnt seen them since my graduation, and before that ....
"Yes " she said sharply
"I gotta tell dem sum thangz" I looked in my grandma's eyes and saw bitterness. I wanted to ask her but couldnt.
"I dont wantcha ta be by yoself so Tati I would appreciate it if Jazzie could spend da nite"
"Yes Ma'm" Tati responded her light brown eyes flashing with concern.
"Well yall get on ta work" she said with finality
I shuddered and looked at grams one more time before leaving, something wasnt right.
"Guurrrl wats up wit Grammy" Tati said walking to the drivers side of the door and getting in.
"Child I dont kno" I responded
"She been actin strange lately" she asked
"Yeah like I dont even kno how to say it...... Like she not my Grams ya kno" I said
We were cruisin down peachtree ave listenin to the radio The Dj did a through back and "Let Me Hold You" by Bow Wow and Omarion came on and as soon as I heard it I remembered last night Sean holdin me and I felt my heart warm. Damn I miss him.
"Yeah, I kno wat it this is" Me and Tati said in unision crackin up
"So So Defffffff" we started giggling even harder and wen da beat dropped started to grind in our seats.
"Man dis use to be my song" Tati said jiggin as much as her car allowed it.
I smiled
Suddenly Tati smacked me on da head I fixed my mouth to cuss her but she beat me to it
"Bitch tell my why I told you to call me wen you got home...."

"You gave up dem cookies I can see it in yo face!!!" " Grama gonna tear dat ass up !"
She laughed hard
"Oh shiiiiiit" she said slamming on the breaks she almost crashed into the car infront of us
"Dang Tati" I yelled
"Watch da road"
"Well Damn" she responded and we burst out laughing
