Sean

I slowly moved out of the doorway into the hall carefully stepping over Sergio's dead body.

I looked carefully down the long corridor making sure no one was coming.

I silently motioned for Jazz to follow behind me and we began our quiet trek in our mansion.

Our wedding gift from Xavior was a nine million dollar mansion  sprawling over sixty-six thousand feet.

Our lavish abode was outfitted with six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a  wine cellar, tennis court, volleyball court, 24-seat theater and pool with a waterfall/oasis complete with a wet bar.

I knew whoever that was in our house were truly professionals

There is no way that an average criminal could get past our top of the line security system and security guards that continually patrolled the outside as well as the inside of our home.

We reached the bottom of the hallway in seconds and I had two choices to make .... Take the long flight of stairs or use the elevator.

Our Grand staircase  was elaborate and winding more of a show piece then used for practical purposes.

The wait staff called it the Great wall of China because of its numerous steps. After a maid fell and twisted her ankle carrying  folded laundry I had  elevators  installed at each wing of our mansion. They were made out of gold and crystal....

and were completely clear .

We  were at the Northern end of our home. Right beneath us was a 12 car garage along with safety and freedom.

I took a deep breath and looked at Jazz I rubbed SJ head and smiled.

"Lets take the elevator"

Jazz slowly nodded

Her eyes questioned me but she followed me faithfully.

Yes the clear glass was definetly a set back and the ding that would announces us posed a problem, But are other option .... Well wasn't even feasible.

We took cautious steps down the hall, I was vigilant noting any signs movements or noises.

It bugged the hell out of me how quite our house was.

I gripped the gun tightly.

I felt a weird sensation pit at my stomach and I signaled for Jazz to stop motioning absolute quiet.

"Why isn't he back by now"

"It shouldn't take that long to kill them !"

The two unrecognizable voices appeared to be getting closer their volume getting slightly louder by the second.
