Chapter 13

"So lets see. Iron Head, Metal Claw, Dark Pulse, and Earthquake. Dang, how'd you learn Dark Pulse and Earthquake?" I said.

After I said this, Aron started drawing in the ground. When he was done, I could clearly see a Haunter and a Hippopotas in the ground.

"Wow! You draw also?" I said surprised. "That's awesome!"

"Aron! Aron!" He said facing a rustling in the bushes.

"Hold it right there you two!" a man said after jumping out of the bushes.

Immediately, a net shot out from the forest and caught us and our pokemon. Then, the man took a tranquilizer gun and shot us all with a dart.

Waking up, I saw that we were all strapped to metal chairs in a plain room.

"Welcome back, you two!" a voice said from the shadows.

"Who are you and where are we?" I asked the shadowy voice.

"We are somewhere in the middle of nowhere. And as far as my identity," the voice said with some footsteps, "lets just keep that a secret."

The woman stepped into the light and revealed herself wearing a bright white suit and fedora with a blank white face mask on. In her hand was a fancy white cane that sparkled in the light.

"I am the new leader of the infamous Team Rocket. You may call me Kaori," she said leaning on her cane.

"Well, Kaori, do you mind telling us why we are here?" Victoria asked trying not to anger her.

"Well, little miss, the answer is quite simple. You and your boyfriend over here are becoming a pain in my side," he answered.

"What have we done to get in your way?" I asked.

"You are becoming too favorable in the public eye," she explained. "I wanted to take this opportunity to talk to you both before you get any bright ideas. Now I'll give you two an option cause I'm a reasonable person. You two can either be released and stay out of our way. Or you can face the consequences. It's your choice."

"We want to be let go," I answered in an annoyed tone.

"Good choice. But first let me explain the conditions of our agreement," she began. "First, you will not help the police with their investigations. Second, you will not disclose any information about this meeting. Third, if anyone questions you about us, you will say nothing and play ignorant. Understood?"

"Yes we understand," I said to her feeling defeated.

"Now, Mark, take them out," Kaori said.

"Yes, boss," a voice from behind us said as we heard two small gunshots. We got tranquilized again.

When we woke up, we were exactly where we were before. Contemplating that it was a dream, we confirmed with each other that we remembered everything that happened before that.

With all suspicions cleared, we moved on to more pressing matters.

We are now targets of a criminal group.

A shorter chapter, but packs a huge punch!

Not much to say about this chapter without giving too much away, but next time, the chapter will be longer.
