Chapter 19
Inside Palm's Lab
"How near are we to finishing our project?" Palm asked.
"We are merely waiting for them to finish resting. Estimated wait time is 3 hours."
"Good. By now those kids have met Ash and the rest. After they break into Team Rocket's Headquarters, either the police will arrest them or they will head here next. When they wake up, begin transformations and prep for battle. We're taking this planet one way or another."

Meanwhile somewhere in the sky
"How long until we get there?" I asked.
"Not sure, maybe another few hours. We have to travel all the way across the region to get there," Ash said.
We rode in silence for a good amount of time until the lab was within site. Immediately, everyone was listening to Ash giving out instructions on what to do when we arrived.
"Lucian, take Candice and Teleport into the Lab when I give you the signal. Ryan, Victoria, and I will distract them all and keep them occupied. Phoebe, have all of your Pokemon use Double Team and surround the Lab with all of the copies. Wait for the signal before proceeding. After that, I will give further instructions."
We approached the Lab and quietly took our places. It was go time.
Ash Victoria and I landed in the large green area in front of the Lab and waited for everyone to be prepared.
"Hey, Palm! We're here!" Ash shouted. "Did you really think that you could hide from us all this time? It's time to face us! Show yourself!"
Ash snapped his fingers and Lucian and Candice who were concealed behind us disappeared into the Lab.
"If you don't come out now, we will unleash the spirits of the dead upon you!" Ash continued yelling.
After a small period of silence, Ash yelled out, "You have been warned!"
Ash then lifted his hand up and then pointed forward to signal Phoebe.
The Lab became clouded from the spirits hovering around the Lab. At once, the Ghosts charged the Lab and whizzed in and out for a good 2 minutes. Strangely, there was no screaming nor panicking from the Lab. From this barrage, a sole Duskull came out of the commotion and approached Phoebe. Within moments, Phoebe showed up beside us saying that there is nobody in there. Not even Lucian or Candice.
"Ash, you are foolish to think that such a barbaric 'storm the castle' tactic would work against me," a voice said as the spirits froze in silence. "I have a more interesting game for us to play."
At these words, the grass in front of us began to open up as a platform rose up from the ground. On the platform, there was a capsule that contained Mew floating in some liquid. Along with Mew, Palm stood there facing us with a smug smile on his face.
"If you want your precious Mew back, you can have it. Oh, and I assume that you'll be wanting your friends as well," Palm said as he pulled Lucian and Candice out from behind the capsule bound to each other. "Of course, no reward comes without a challenge." At this, Palm put his fingers to his mouth and whistled very loudly. Suddenly, half a dozen colorful Mewtwo clones appeared out of the sky.
"Now, you have two options. Fight or Surrender. Choose wisely," Palm said obviously toying with us.
There was no sound except tons of Pokeballs opening. Everyone was sending out all of their Pokemon. At the roar of Rayquaza being released, the fight was on.
The battle raged on for a good 20 minutes as tons of elemental blasts were sent between both sides. The colorful Mewtwo were colored to correspond to the elements that they had control over. Even against the strongest trainers and several legendaries, the Mewtwo withstood the attacks and managed to decimate the opposition. The fire in Ash's eyes died out as defeat sunk into everyone.
Until they came.

Sorry about the delay, guys. I was behind on summer work and wasn't able to finish this story in time before school. I then got swamped with homework and catching up with friends.
Anyways, the final chapters will be out tonight and my first story will be complete! Hooray!
As for my next story, I will announce what my plan is for it in the epilogue.
Thanks!
