In the beginning there was an island. On this island there was only a single society that was very well....different. Very few escape the island do to a strange magic barrier, and those that do end up without their memories. The escapees went on to inspire new colonies that took up spaces so big, they decided to make a new term for them. This term was to be called continents. Throughout many thousand years, outworlders,( a term used for descendants of the escapees) had minds powerful enough to maintain a link with the island and went on to mimic the creations the island inspired with new technology.

On this island, there were once two types magic that lived in harmony. These magics were dark, and light. However, in later years, the two magics broke out into a civil war. After almost 3 tragic years of fighting, the two sides declared a peace treaty. Each magic would get their own half, and each side was forbidden to visit, act like, think like, talk like, dress like, or use the magic of the other. And now, many thousand years later, our story can begin
