sun on my back
music playing,
it doesnt feel like we're trapped in
it finally feels a little freeing.
sure, we're still gated in, and stuck behind
concrete walls but at least its something
mental hospitals arent like the movies.
its full of angry, misunderstood
children, that just wanna be saved.
i have the tools i need to get better
i've gained patience with people
who before i'd just go off on
maybe im revived
turned a new leaf.
maybe it was all a facade to get out of there.
