I liked her, though she despised me,

I didn't know who she wanted me to be.

I was myself, she wanted me to change,

She said I looked ugly and I looked strange.

It hurt my heart and left me to cry,

I was always happy when she came by.

But she'd ignore me and walk away,

And she wouldn't listen to what I had to say,

I never did know why I still liked her,

Things would never be the way they were,

I had none and again I was all alone,

From now on, I had to do things on my own,

I was apparently just a selfish little brat,

That's what they all say, and I knew that.

She did say things that I didn't want to hear,

Don't know why she'd run away when I came near.

That made me feel like dying,

She doesn't see my scars from crying.

It doesn't matter anymore, it's all over,

I decided to leave, since she doesn't want me around her.
