She'd wipe my tears when I cry,
She'd pinch my cheek when I lie.
When I wake up she'd wash my face,
She'd sit down to tie my shoe lace.
She'd take the time to brush my hair,
She'd pick out the best clothes for me to wear.
When I'm sick she won't leave my side,
When she wants to feed me vegetables I would hide.
She'd tuck me in bed after a long day,
Then she'd give me a kiss and go away.
She'd make sure I went to sleep with a smile,
She'd walk beside me and help me with every trial.
She helped me grow and set my goals,
She helped me fill in every unfilled holes.
She guided me and she was my teacher,
She's the one that gave birth to this creature.
That creature she gave birth to was me,
I want to grow up and be as wonderful as she.
