You knocked the door, and I didn't open it,

All because, I didn't think I would fit.

You called on the phone, for the millionth time,

And through my window, you tried to climb.

I shut myself out, and I shut you out too,

Whenever I'm sad, it felt like you always knew.

When I feel invisible, or ignored,

You're the one that would feel lonely and bored.

When I smile, and when I laugh from crying,

That's when you stop, all you're sighing.

I know you're waiting, for the moment I let you in,

That'll be soon, because it feels like you're my twin.

Did you choose me? Or did I choose you?

Only if I knew.
