Poem 110

You and I, we are different but the same,

We are similar in what and where we came.

Not everyone sees that and it's a shame,

At different races you all have an aim.

"They are not like us" you claim,

And turned your racism into a game.

You've put labels on us and our name,

Enacted sins and on us threw the blame.

The crimes you did on us you frame,

And treat us like animals that you cannot tame.

Our hearts you injure, kill and maim,

Now I'm left wondering;

"Are we really the same?"
