Poem 35

We haven't spoken in such a long time,

So let me tell you this, in a little rhyme.

You're still my friend, I love you, I really do,

I thought we'll always be together, stuck like glue.

But if you were my friend you would bother to check in,

So for when I needed you most, where have you been?

I think about you every time and everyday,

There's so much to tell you, so much to say.

But you aren't my friend, that's the conclusion I'm led to,

I'm really sorry to end this friendship with you.

If you were real you would be there when I cry,

But you're fake, because you won't even be there if I die.

I'm sorry to tell you in this very harsh way,

And it still bothers me everyday.

I thought you were real, seems I was wrong,

Getting over this would be a process that's long.

I told you everything and I thought we were close,

But I'll just say this for now and see how it goes.
