Poem 14

She told me to follow my dreams,

But that's not as easy as it seems.

My dreams are too big for the earth,

But I'll try and see if it's really worth.

If only I was strong to make my dreams come true,

I'm only doing this so I won't upset you.

You believed in me so I'll do as you ask,

But if I fail, I'll cover my face with a mask.

I tired and failed, I'll never get it right,

If my dreams came true, there would be a white light.

And the world would be at peace,

And I would feel so much ease.

But that dream will never come true,

I'm sorry to have disappointed you.

But trying won't help and it never will,

Because people will continue to fight and kill.
