Leaving You

Andrea's P.O.V

Niall and I walked into his hospital room hand in hand. Leah was no where to be found. She probably wandered off to look at the prenatal wing of the hospital. I didn't care though Niall just asked me out. Our hands separated when he sat on his bed. He patted next to him, which I gladly accepted. Our knees touched, but neither of us moved. My heart was fluttering.

"What do you wanna do ?" I asked him. It was awkward to have just met him still.

"How about you tell me a fact about yourself and then I'll tell you one about me." He suggested only for me to secretly laugh at him. Come on Niall I'm a Directioner I thought to myself. "You first."

"My full name is Andrea Renee Connors." He nodded as he thought of one.

"My favourite food is cheeseburgers and steaks." I didn't know that. Hmm.

"I'm 25."

"Me too."

"I have a younger sister." I stated back.

"I have an older brother." Knew that.

"I own every Joe Brooks song." He seemed surprised at that.

"I met Joe Brooks." Damn ! He met my favourite singer ?!?

"I love colouring books and I read all the time."

"I don't read." We laughed. That was something different between us. Big difference in that.

"Leah is my best friend."

"Zayn, Louis, Liam, and Harry are my best friends."

"I've been to China, Honduras, America, France, and Spain." I bit back confident.

"I've been to 123 countries." Niall smiled winningly. He beat me there.

"I'm not a virgin." I smiled.

"Me neither." He winked. Obviously he wasn't. In the biggest boy band today ! He got thousands of girls thrown his way everyday.

"I've had three serious relationships."

"I've had two." I had him there.

"I've got a crush on someone."

"Me too." My heart skipped. Niall leaned into me and stopped. Then he reached into me and planted a kiss in my cheek. Instantly my face brightened red. I thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest.

We sat for a minute watching the tv. It was dead quiet in his room. That was when I remembered my phone for some reason was in Leah's bag that was with her.

"Can I use your phone ? I have to text Leah."

"Yeah sure." Niall reached across the table and got his phone. He handed it to me before unlocking it. I couldn't believe he remembered it. I opened his contacts and typed in her name. Her contact had a picture of them together smiling. It made me smile they were good friends. I texted her and told her to please bring my phone. She said okay right away. I was right she was at the prenatal ward.

Once I hit the home button on his phone I was a bit shocked. His screen saver was Niall and Leah smiling when she was in the hospital. I quickly pulled up his photos. I wasn't acting jealous I was just looking. He had tons if weird photos. However there were a lot of him and Leah. They were making funny faces or smiling. A few of them were her not knowing she was looking. My heart stopped. Niall's crush was on Leah. He likes my best friend who is engaged to his best friend. And worst he asked me out. Hurt and anger ran through me. I had no reason to be mad though, only upset.

"She comin ?" Niall asked breaking my thoughts.

"Yeah on her way." I responded. He smiled as I handed his phone back to him. How could I be so stupid not to see it ?
