Leaving You

Niall's P.O.V

Today I learned that I was in a coma for two weeks. At first I couldn't remember why, but after Leah explained what happened I did. I wasn't mad at the fans. How could I ? It's not like the did it on purpose. I didn't want them to feel bad so I took to twitter.

Glad @LeahSanchez and Sashie were here when I woke up ! Scared the shit outta her though ! Ha ! Xx

Thousands of people were apologising to me for everything. They didn't have to though, it just happened. I didn't take it personally at all.

"Wanna walk around the building ?" Leah asked stopping my thoughts. Her bright smile warmed up my cheeks. I really loved her smile.

"Umm yeah. Sounds good." I was nervous to get up. The doctor actually told me that he wanted me to which was surprising. Leah told a nurse who helped me with my IV machine. This nurse was grabby to say the least, her wrinkly fingers palmed my bum. Leah saw this and giggled. I smiled and shook my head.

"That all ya need ?" Her heavy Irish accent spoke. I nodded at her grateful. She was Irish so I forgave the groping. My companion rose up from her seat and rushed to my aid. The IV machine was attached to my arm so it came with me. She stood closely next to me.

"You okay ?" She checked before we left.

"Yeah a bit sore and awkward."

"I meant after that groping. She was diggin." Lea laughed at me. My cheeks reddened at that the thought. Once again, I shook my head and smiled.

My feet shuffled slowly down the white hall. It was weird, I was like limping with my feet turned.

"The first night all the lads and Dani and El stayed. Everyone was crying. All of us. Then everyone had to do stuff except Harry and I. I've been by your side every day but one."

"You didn't have to stay here Leah. You should be with Zayn." I hit a nerve at Zayn. Something went down.

"Him and I are on a break. I've been staying at the Best Western. My best friend Andrea drove up and she's staying with me." My jaw dropped at the words. Her and Zayn were perfect together. They were having a baby and engaged. Everytime they were together in a group they showed all sorts if PDA. Instantly I felt bad for bringing it up. I decided it would be best to change the subject.

"How's Sashie ?" Leah smiled. She didn't like the name Sasha. She wanted Nova or something like that. "Did you find out the gender ?"

"No too soon. About another two months. And I think I'm just going to give up on Nova if it's a girl. Like got everyone to say Sashie. Even the fans are saying it." The fans. I missed interacting with them.

"How are the fans ? Did they do anything."

"Actually when they found out the surrounded the hospital. They sang all the group's slow songs. They ended up leaving at our request. Probably be back soon now that you're up." It was amazing to know that they stood outside singing. Just for me. I just wanted to hug every one of them.

"I'll thank them later. With a twit cam definitely. Will you be in it ?" I really wanted her to. She stayed with me all this time. "Pleeeaaasssseeee." I begged with a boo boo lip.

"Yes, but let's get back to the room. I'll ask a guard for a laptop." I nodded as I slowly turned around. We now face the route we just walked. My body was sore, but I didn't say anything.

Once back to the room, Leah helped me down into the bed. Her hands grabbed my sides and helped me. It felt weird to have her hands on me. Not that I minded. As she held my waist all I could think of was what she said during my coma. It was like the stories you read about. I heard and felt everything. I knew her touch differently from any of my other visitors. She held my hand a lot and I knew it was her. The thing that really stuck out was when she said, "I think I'm in love with you Niall." She's engaged to my best friend and pregnant with his child. How could she just say that ? The worst part was that I'm in love with her.

As she sat across from me in her chair, I thought about her. Only if she handed me my order first at that party where they met, I would have met her first. I would've asked her out and she would've been with me instead. That's all I think of.
