~Jack Frost~
The first thing I noticed was her eyes. They were light blue, sparkling with new relief and playfulness. Black eyelashes and slim, mischievous eyebrows framed the captivating pupils. Her face was was pale with sharp cheekbones, an adorable nose and reddening cheeks. Her smile, with perfect white teeth glinting in what little light there was including her soft, ruby red lips that were astonishing. Ivory, alabaster hair was professionally braided and fell on her slender shoulders. The rest of her fragile figure was draped in a crystallized, futuristic ice dress that sparkled in even the moonlight.
For a minute, I hovered there, entranced by this ice goddess and let my eyes study her from afar. Calling her pretty would've been an outrage. Heavenly would've been a characteristic. Even the word sublime couldn't have done her justice.
Her arms were raised like a bird, ready to fly into the new break of dawn followed by a cape of clear-cut ice and diamonds. She was blinding, but bright and breathtaking.
I realized that I had been standing in front of her for very long, bewildering moments and I probably looked like a half-witted dolt.
"U-Um, hello. I'm Jack Frost."
She said nothing, just let out a charismatic laugh and went inside. Inside. Only then did I notice the very detailed, glowing palace made of ice and the balcony she was perched on. But her beauty was yet still more stunning. I slipped through the intricate glass doors before they slammed shut, and watched as she twirled on the surface of a chiseled ice floor. Newborn tendrils of sunlight filtered through the reflective walls and pierced her outfit, making every inch of her shine. Her pale skin gleamed like marble in the detailed dawn.
"So...did you make this?" I started again. She didn't stop. She kept twirling and dancing, murmuring something in a sing-song voice about freedom.
Then the gut-twisting truth created a gaping hole in my chest. She can't see me. It was almost like a punishment, getting to see someone famous and yet couldn't speak to them without being out of place. Miles were between us.
The pain grew, so much the faint presence of tears were in my eyes. Someone like me. And yet, I couldn't even talk to her. I didn't even exist to her. I couldn't bare to try to stand in front of her, and risk her walking through me. The emptiness I felt when others did that...I felt it would be worse if she did, too.
I didn't know what to do. There was nothing I could do, really. I was stuck in the glass of a mirror, watching my reflection rejoice in whatever she recently conquered. Whether she meant to freeze the town or not, I didn't know. She didn't seem 'cold' enough to freeze her own kingdom.
Queen Elsa...
The name suited her nicely. It had a bit more of a spice than most names of this century; John, Mary, and other ones. She was like a snowflake; magnificent and unique.
But I couldn't give up on my mission. Somehow, I had to find out answers. Then it hit me.
I made my way over to the wall and created a fresh layer of frost with a touch of my staff. Then began to scribble words on it.
Part of me wondered if people in this area could read english–and if she could read my writing. I had gone a hundred years without printing anything down.
She stopped, and her arms fell to her sides as the faint noise of me scribbling on the crystallized walls bounced off every surface.
"Hello?" Her eyes flew to the staircase, but I had stopped moving for a moment. She had the most beautiful voice. She glanced up at the gigantic chandelier-magnificent shards of ice smashed together into a work of unequal art-and looked my way.
I backed away from the frost even though I probably wasn't blocking it, and Elsa walked motionless across the slick, lustrous flooring. Her perfect, trimmed eyebrows were arched in confusion as she crouched and read what I wrote.
You are beautiful.
Her cheeks blushed a deeper crimson red as she cast another glance around the palace. "Um...thank you?" She replied uneasily.
I wrote more, and she leaned back, probably wondering how words were writing themselves in thin air.
Why did you leave?
Elsa sighed and put her head in her hands. "Because..I'm a monster. And I don't want to hurt anyone."
"No you're not!" I shouted, but I knew she couldn't hear the echoes of my outburst on the walls. I turned back to the panel of frost and created more so I would have room to write.
No you're not! How could you hurt anyone?
Her held out her hands, fingertips faintly brushing against the frost. "Look at me! I am one! And if I could hurt Anna, my sister, on accident, why doesn't that spell dangerous to you?!"
Anna. Princess Anna? The one that ran across the street?
You said it was an accident, so it doesn't. What does Anna have to do with this?
Elsa shook her head at my squalid-printed words. "When I was young, I accidentally hurt Anna when playing with magic. After that, I shut myself out for nearly a decade, and it's still a problem!"
Now I felt immense guilt, and pity for Queen Elsa. She might have my magic, but obviously had no control over it. The incident with freezing the town had to be an accident, just like Anna. It finally made sense, but in an abhorrent, dreadful way.
I scribbled down three more words.
You're not alone.
She rested a hand against the soft texture of my frost. "Who are you?" She whispered.
Jack Frost.

Author's Note: One thing I have to say: don't forget the mirror reference. There is a small connection later ;) Its been a few days since I last updated and I can conclude..I am already caught up. That happened. But now I have a terrible writer's block, don't worry, they hardly last long and it won't jeopardize the story at all. No, the antagonist of the story has not shown up yet, but I secretly love her and will explain ;) and yes, you heard me right. Its a her. No more Pitch and Hans, I thought it was time for something new! It's still relevant though, believe me, I have wikia to back me up..it's still a source. It counts. Maybe. Anyways, go be awesome!!! Hang in there till next update, more will come!
