~Queen Elsa of Arendelle, 1822~
I stared down at my hands as the fragile sunlight sprouting through the trees made my fair skin tone shine. I regretted my actions, leaving my two guests, Merida and Hiccup, alone after an outburst. Did I have the right to do so? Most likely not. But that...that thing...the ice itself, forming into a person...
And it wasn't because of me.
I looked up, out at the pale blue of the sky, seeping into the dark waves of the harbor. I could smell the salt from here, at my place close to the edge of the palace gardens. Unattended grass stirred at my feet.
At least it's not frozen.
I looked up, and noticed someone cloaked sitting next to me. It was the color of mud brown, and I noticed small crystallized stains of ice when he moved. He sat down without revealing his face, although he seemed familiar enough.
"You look troubled, my queen." He said quietly as his unseen head bowed.
I wondered about his identity, but I figured that he would be neglected to tell me. Maybe talking will help.
"Well...I'm not sure." I admitted, and he repositioned himself better to listen. "Something happened today..during a meeting with the other rulers. Someone was there."
He nodded, listening intently as I continued, "I..didn't really know him. Well, no, actually, I did. I just thought he wasn't real..."
"And why would you think that, my lady?" He replied gently.
"Because, he was exactly like me," I said, "just more...perfect."
The man nodded one last time, as if satisfied, and we watched the cool wisps of clouds glide across the sky. I said nothing, and lingered until the sun sank down into my eyes. When I finally stood, brushed away loose leaves and departed back for the castle, I saw a message engraved in the bark of the tree with ice.
You are perfect.

A/N: Believe me, you guys deserve waaaay more than what I wrote here, but I had to get something out to you. Thank you so so so much for the views, you are awesomesauce :D and the sequel is going good. Those of you still reading the first book, I encourage you to read on because I have finally mastered Elsa's calm, quiet personality (Hopefully) in that one more than here, but the circumstances were challenging in this one, so bare with me. As always, I'll see you every Friday or every two weeks, keep being awesome :)
