~Jack~

I could forget meeting Elsa alone tonight. I sat next to her at the elaborate dining table, glittering with handmade ice utensils from the times when North was bored. He sat at the end of the table, in front of the window, where the northern lights flickered across the empty, black sky and filled the night. Candles were set up by the elves, who jingled by with bells strapped to their clothing and had begun to bring out the food. But I would hardly be eating tonight.

Elsa's arms were crossed while she bit on her lip silently, as if holding back something. It would be hard to talk to her alone now with Mavis and everyone else, but at least I didn't have to worry about Hiccup.

Mavis...

Elsa was the queen of vampires, or now commonly known as the cold ones, since she was the ice queen. Not only that, but now she had wings. Actual, shimmering wings, delicate to the touch like vampires had in their bat forms. She was right: "Don't underestimate a queen, lover boy." . She had completely amazed me. And I was proud of her.

"So, what have you been doing all these years if 'ye weren't governing 'yer kingdom, Queenie?" Merida pushed a piece of delicious well-cooked ham around her plate with her fork, waiting for Elsa's response as Hiccup looked up beside her.

"Well, after I learned that I was the queen of the cold ones, I basically stayed at their home in Romania and went to and fro from there to that old ice palace I made at the beginning of my rule. Remember Jack?" She looked over at me and smiled. The sides of my cheeks burned just from the small gesture. "I-I forgot about that place. Is it still standing?" Technically, I hadn't completely forgot. More like I ignored it. When I attempted to leave after the dinner party years ago, I spent most of my time there. And after her death, too. But soon it became too painful to visit and I stayed within the borders of my hometown, Burgess.

"Yep, to this day. It's amazing, either it's cold enough for the ice to stay the same or it really is strong. And all I've added to it over the years were a few extra rooms..."

"Will you be staying there?" Tooth stared at her hopefully as she looked at me in the corner of her eye. "Maybe..North offered me a permanent residence.." North glanced up at his name mentioned, "..I wouldn't mind being close with everyone again, but that's up to Mavis,"

"Hmm?" She was frozen in place with half-chewed food in her mouth. "I like it here, but why would you ask me?"

"You're like my roommate, that's one. Two, do you think your dad would mind it?" Mavis swallowed, and twisted a random strand of black hair in thought. "I like it here, and that's the least of his worries. I already planned on moving out with Johnny anyways–wait, could Johhny come and live here?"

"Bring as many friends as you like! The more the merrier!" North seemed amused at the idea of people moving in. Maybe he finally had enough of his yetis and elves and missed company. It's not like I could blame him, I even counted the days since the last time I saw Elsa when I assumed she was dead. The count ended at seventy-thousand, eight-hundred and ten.

"What I'm more interested about is how you know Jack," Tooth mused.

We both looked up at the same time, and as her cheeks reddened, so did mine. "Well, um..." I started, "there's not much to say..."

"Uhuh." Merida, Eugene, Punzie, and Hiccup stared at us expectantly, every now and then exchanging evil smiles with each other. Elsa played with her braid while I coughed loudly. The rest of the Guardians shot smirks at me.

I swallowed hoarsely. "It all started...when I found Arendelle–"

"EEEEE! Oh my god, I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I just always wanted to hear this story," Punzie blushed, "please go on."
