~Elsa~
The nerve of humanity, shouting at nothing and attacking one another. What happened in that room was worse than my coronation a year back, even when I tried to celebrate Anna's birthday and got a cold.
I trekked deeper into the shadow-filled woods, watching as frost collected on every surface I brushed past. I couldn't return there now. Not with Eugene, and Merida, and Hiccup...
And that thing. A frost-man walking through the room like an undead ghost. I shivered just thinking about it. But what if I'm the one who made it? I couldn't accept that. I wouldn't accept that. And now I was lost.
I didn't even want today to carry on. I would've been happy, in my room, communicating with the odd 'Jack Frost' like I had over the past year. When I was with him, it wasn't just the death of my solitude. Anna could do that, anyways. It was the feel of freedom..and something else.
Maybe I made him up, too. Maybe I'm slowly going insane with everyone else, stuck on a never ending course of misery. There was no reason to be so dramatic. But there was no way I could ignore the way everyone acted tonight, either.
"Excuse me, but do you plan on freezing my children further?"
I jumped. A voice. I glanced around to see who followed me. But there was no one. Just the wilderness.
"Oh come on, don't tell me you can't see me. Ah, I see. A 'neglecter', as they called it. There is no way you will ever witness immortals, except for the one way, thankfully hearing with me is much more simple."
The ground shuddered underneath me, and I backed away as branches and vines uprooted themselves from the earth and collected around a figure feet away. They twisted together into a dress of greenish bark and leaves, as it traced an outline of curves I couldn't see. The vines hovered five feet in the air and then turned into a woman. Sharp cheekbones, an evil smile, and where her eyes should've been, black depths of nothingness.
"W-What are you doing on the borders of Arendelle?" My voice quivered beyond my crippling will and she released a laugh.
"What do you think you're doing?" She asked as if she were questioning a misbehaved child. I bit on my lip as I held my hands in tight fists at my sides. I didn't forget how to defend my home. "Protecting my kingdom–"
"Oh, that's cute." The woman retorted and moved towards a nearby frozen tree. At the slight touch of her fingertips, the bark rippled and grew, ice shattering onto the fertile ground. It evolved meters tall and its width was bigger than half the doorways of the palace. "Because I'm Mother Nature, and everything in my realm is my kingdom." Mother Nature? That doesn't sound reassuring.
"What is your motive?" I tried.
"Why do I have to answer to you?" She questioned. Her lips pursed, "You aren't immortal, at least not yet anyway. I see that lovesick dolt Frost has been watching you, but I'm surprised he hasn't figured out exactly what you are." What I am? I'm done with her, that's what!
I lifted my arms and torturous frozen spikes erupted from the ground and started towards Mother Nature. She took one step back, and it exploded where she was once standing.
She glanced up at me, her pupils glinting with terror and unending rage. "Now we're officially enemies, Neglector." She said and took another step backwards, her dress of plants following.
"I gave you one chance to apologize and go back to your fortress with promises to serve me for life with shrines and trinkets, but now I'm afraid that chance is up." Her ferocity was quenched for a slight moment, and she held a hand under her chin as she studied me.
"You'd make a strong Guardian," Mother Nature mused, the traumatic smirk creeping back up to her lips. "Strong enough to even rival me, the queen of this realm...it is decided." Her hands fell back to her sides as she closed the distance between us. Up close she smelled like moist soil and dirt. "We are going to play a game Ms. Elsa. Between us queens,"
A game between queens? "I'm not playing a game! And I won't let you harm Arendelle!"
"A pity, but that doesn't mean that I can't harm you," Her wooden fingertips hovered over my right shoulder with a faint crinkling noise. I fought the urge to run, to go screaming back to Anna, to forget this dreadful..immortal. But I couldn't. And I didn't doubt her when she said she might hurt me. "Which I will, but first, let's even the odds. Challenge accepted, Ms. Elsa," When her voice ended, the ground opened up beneath me, and I went screaming, down into the earth itself. The soil piled back up on the hole as I descended into darkness.
And all I could think about was how I wanted to forget today, and spend it like most days had been for a year.
With Jack Frost.
So I screamed his name as I fell into the blackness, and did not come out.

Author's Note: I did it. I put in an antagonist that makes sense, is new, and is not Pitch or Hans (Which we all know are girls...they're both afraid of Sandy and Anna). I hope you all like Mother Nature, she is a character from the books written about the movie, 'The Rise of the Guardians'. Yes I did my homework, the information came from wiki :3 So if you're observant, or a very good predictor, you can guess why the movie 'Epic' is involved here :) I'm that good. Now go! To save Arendelle! And to be awesome!!!
