"You're sure this will work?"

"Positive."

Eugene and Rapunzel glanced at each other again, then nodded. I paused one last time in front of the wooden doors that lead to the dining room, then pushed them open as Punzie and Eugene entered.

Anna and the newcomers were gathered around the fancy dining room table. Elegant dishes and silverware were set accordingly around the table, aligned with the chairs. What alarmed me most was how sharp the knives were, and they weren't even for meat. Plum curtains were draped over the stainless glass windows as a glittering chandelier topped with candles swung slightly from above. Anna was at one end of the table, and Elsa was on the other. Her legs were crossed politely as a napkin was folded over her lap. Her smile was bright and mysterious, displayed for everyone to see. I had to hold myself back from studying her so I wouldn't blow my cover.

She looked up as Rapunzel and Eugene entered. "Dinner's almost ready–are you two alright? You seem a little flushed," Elsa stood and took one Punzie's dainty arms but she waved her away. "I'm fine, just this place...it's so...big." Punzie smiled, at a loss for words, but not for the reason everyone thought. Elsa got Rapunzel situated in a cushioned chair right next to hers as Eugene offered her a hand. "So Queenie, while we have the time..how about some dancing?" He was going as planned but acted naturally, his expression inviting. Elsa's eyebrows knit together. "I'm flattered Eugene, but wouldn't that offend Rapunzel–?"

"Oh please, I'm exhausted from all of this walking around," Punzie slouched in her chair, "besides, it would be nice to see my cousin and husband getting along."

Elsa only relaxed slightly, until turning to Eugene and forcing a grin. "As long as it's alright with you..but I'm afraid that I don't dance–"

"How about we dance?" Hiccup interfered.

Eugene turned sharply and looked at him, at a loss for words. His mouth opened, then he closed it with his jaw clamped. "A-Are you sure you can with that leg? And E-Elsa doesn't dance," Eugene added.

Elsa moved around the almost speechless post-thief and took Hiccup's outstretched hand. "I wouldn't mind," She said shyly.

While everyone was occupied in this miniature affair, Eugene's head snapped back to me. What do I do? He mouthed. I don't know, I answered as I threw up my hands in the air. He huffed and his attention went back to Hiccup and Elsa. Anna smiled happily at the two of them which just infuriated me more. Oh, so you'll shut the windows on me when I ice your doorknob, but when he hits on your sister, you let him? And I thought you were cute and protective!

My head quickly scrambled for a new plan. Hiccup would not make this situation any easier, but not impossible. I got Punzie's attention and mouthed another order. She nodded sternly and slipped past the frozen Merida to the joyful Anna, and lead her out of the room.
