Different: A Reverse Kevedd Story

Chapter Six

Kevin laughed at something Edd said. His eyes catching the clock hanging on the wall. It was well past 8 PM, he knew at some point Edd would have to leave since they had school tomorrow.

Kevin didn't want him to leave though. They were having so much fun!
The two had had several deep conversations through out the night, building off of each other's thoughts, opinions, and ideas.
They had made jokes and currently were lounging in the living room together; talking about little nothings that just felt natural to talk about with each other.

Kevin was laying on top of Edd on the sofa, both laying and cuddling together.
This was the position Edd liked most because this was the only one that Kevin wouldn't freak out over if Edd wanted to hold him close.

"Edd?" Kevin yawned cutely.

Edd smiled, "Yeah, my tired Pumpkin?"

"Do you have to leave soon?" Kevin said; disappointed in himself because the sentence had came out wrong. It wasn't supposed to sound like he wanted Edd to leave, but unfortunately it had.

"I-uh-no-I'm sorry," Kevin tried to fix it, but ended up embarrassing himself and to try to hide his rosy red cheeks hide his face on Edd's chest.

Edd chuckled. Kevin is so cute. He raises his boyfriends head from hiding on his chest, getting Kevin to look at him, Edd smiles at him, "I understand what you were trying to say, Cutie."

Kevin blushes even more.

Edd smiles, pulling lightly so that Kevin was closer, as he too leaned closer to Kevin.
Soon they lips are pressed together and when both boys pull away they both have rosy cheeks.

"Will you have to be leaving soon?" Kevin asks frowning.

"I could stay if you wanted me to, but only if you are comfortable with me staying."

"Well it is getting late.. And we both have had a good time, right?"

Edd nodded smiling at Kevin, their eyes connecting.
Edd found it cute that Kevin waited for reassurance from him to continue. His eyes seemed to light up when Edd had nodded in agreement. His green eyes becoming even more addicting to Edd.

"Well, you don't live that far away- across the street anyways. So if you want to you could stay over and tomorrow morning you could go get a change of clothes from your house," Kevin explained his idea.

"Alright, Shortie, let's watch a movie to  pass some time," Edd said trying to get close to his red headed boyfriend again.

Kevin nods smiling big, "Okay. You can pick out a movie, I will go get us some blankets because it is starting to get cold in here."

He races up stairs, he secretly was scared he smelt bad, so he sprayed some cologne on. Then he proceeded to do what he had came up here to do, grabbing some blankets and two pillows he came back down. 

He noticed that Edd had already decided on a movie, so he turned off the lights and sat next to his boyfriend on the couch.

When the movie started Edd noticed that Kevin was shivering even with his blankets on. "Come here, Pumpkin. I will protect you from them," Edd said as he pulled Kevin closer holding him in his arms. Kevin aromatically stopped shivering and relaxed in Edd's arms.

Halfway through the movie both boys were tired, so much so that Kevin was okay with Edd carrying him upstairs. He then laid him down softly on the bed. When he was about to turn around to go back downstairs to sleep, Kevin spoke up in his tired voice almost pouting, "Don't go, please. Cuddle with me."

Edd smiled a little, he was just so cute. You couldn't say no, so he crawled into Kevin's bed and wrapped his arms around the smaller boy. "Goodnight Pumpkin."

All throughout+ the night Edd kept moving to make sure he wasn't making his pumpkin uncomfortable.

When the sunshine started to peek through the blinds Edd was already awake. He didn't dare move though and he was content on just laying here with Kevin. Kevin was so peaceful when asleep. His beautiful red hair was a little messy, his fragile face leaning against Edd's chest, and Edd knew then that this boy had stolen his heart completely.
