Punk!Percy and Girly!Annabeth
PercyHe didn't know why he did it.
Just one second he was perfectly happy and finally at peace.
Then he broke it all down. Like a leak in a dam.
Because he'd lost something so dear to him.
He'd lost Annabeth, the one girl he loved. The one girl who loved him.
FLASHBACK
"I was stupid, Jace, I don't know why I did it." He said to Jason. Jason pat him on the back, trying to calm him. It's was only hours before that Annabeth had walked out of his-their-apartment.
"Dude, don't beat yourself up about it. She'll come back. After everything you've been through I bet you that she's not gone forever," his cousin said.
That night Percy couldn't sleep. He was worried about his Wise Girl. Their relationship had always been so precious to him. He was scared of breaking it. And he did.
See what happened was partly his fault and partly the alcohol in his system. He'd come home, fully wasted, and rapped on the door.
"Percy?" Her voice had called through the door. He grunted in response. Annabeth had opened the door and shrieked at the sight of him. He would have, too.
He had a bloody lip, ripped shirt and a big purple bruise on his cheek. It didn't help that he was 100% drunk and couldn't stop what he was going to do.
"Hey Annabeth," he slurred. She pulled him in, hoping he wouldn't cause a scene. Oh cause a scene he did.
Annabeth helped him to couch and began to inspect his wounds. Percy being the stubborn man he is, pushed her away claiming he was fine. That just added fuel to her fire.
"You are sure as hell not! What the fuck did you do?! I thought we agreed that this wouldn't happen again!" She screamed, which made his head pound.
"Oh yeah? You decided on that, bitch," he spat. He began to go closer to her. Annabeth was usually so strong, but seeing her boyfriend like this broke her boundaries.
"I know you don't mean that," she whispered.
"I sure as hell do. I fucking hate you. Sometimes I wish I'd never even met you. You are so goddamn annoying. And bratty. 'Percy this' and 'Percy that'. Why did I waste three years of my life on worthless piece of shit like you?" He hissed. He didn't care that she had tears in her stunning grey eyes. Percy knew he struck a nerve. Because the next thing he knew Annabeth slapped him. It made him go silent and come to his senses. Why did he just say that? What was he doing?
"Annabeth-" she held her hand up to him.
"Shut. The. Fuck. Up. I'm done. We're over," she sobbed. Annabeth grabbed her jacket, purse and phone, before exiting the apartment. He watched her go, slamming the door behind her.
END FLASHBACK
Percy had called thousands of times. She never answered. He'd texted her and left messages. Nothing. It had been a week now. A fucking week.
She was gone and he knew it.
