Annabeth

"Emily?" I called.

"Hey Annabeth! You want your mail?" She asked, appearing from around the corner. I nodded. I looked down at the picture on my phone, and my heart broke a little more.

I shut off my phone, just as Emily came with my mail. She always seemed to know what was up with me.

"Guy troubles?"

I sighed. "You could say that again."

"Hold on one sec, okay? I've got something that'll help," Emily went and came back with a plate filled with chocolate chip cookies. (A/N: I'm eating chocolate chip cookies now)

"Take one, and eat a small bite. Your love will be back before it know it. But remember small bite," Emily added. I stared at her suspiciously, and took a cookie off the plate. As she said I took a small bite. But then a fourth of the cookie came off, and I was forced to eat it.

I chocked a bit, and Emily turned around her eyes growing wide.

"Annabeth! I said small bite! Small bite!" She looked at me frantically.

"It broke in my mouth!" I protested. Emily sighed, and muttered some things about the cookie and turned around. I was confused, and late for work so I walked back up to get ready.

The Next Day
It was finally Saturday. My boss gave me the day off, thank god, and I was just gonna head out to see Thalia. I waved at Emily, and she smiled, turning her attention back to the man she was helping.

I walked out, holding my purse. It was a normal day, and I couldn't wait to see Thalia.

That's when my luck ran out.

I was walking down the sidewalk, and I heard someone being tackled to the ground. I turned my head and saw two men fighting over a rose. I laughed and kept my pace.

I passed my favorite bakery, and I stopped to grab a coffee and muffin. I paid quickly, because all the guys in there were giving me strange looks.

I head back out, sipping my coffee. Thalia's apartment wasn't very far, so I usually just walked. But today, it seemed as if I was walking a thousand miles. I heard glass break next to me, and I was scared I was going to get hurt so I pushed my feet harder.

I looked at the stores in the streets and noticed a small pet store with a cute little dog was yelping at me. I cooed, but kept going.

What I didn't notice, while walking, was the hundreds of men trailing after me. I guess I wasn't connected today.

Some guy jumped in front of me, making me almost fall backwards.

"I love you! Please take this puppy!" He said, pushing the dog from the pet store into my hands. My eyes widened. A random stranger had confessed their undying love for me.

Holy shit.

"I'm sorry, I don't know you!" I blurted, pushing him away. This was a very off morning.

I pushed my feet harder. More guys kept crossing my path. All claiming that they loved me. Suddenly one of them grabbed me and I screamed.

"Put me down!" I screamed. He didn't comply. Instead he set me in the middle of the whole group of men and they all watched my movement. I tried to escape, but they had circled me tightly.

"I love you!"

"No, I love you!"

"Fuck off! She loves me!"

All around me, all the men in the city began to fight over me, like I was some sort of trophy.

"STOP!" I shouted. They all turned back to me, as silent as mice. I lifted my arms, making sure they kept away. I pulled one arm closer to me, and one side moved closer to me.

I pushed it back out, and they moved in sync, also pulling away.

"What the heck?" I said. Then a thought popped itself up.

The cookie.

Oh dear lord, I thought.

I spread out my arms as much as they would go, but they guys just some closer, not caring any more.

"No!" I yelled. "That stupid cookie!"

They came closer, to the point where I was highly uncomfortable. "Hold on!" I yelled.

But, they didn't. Instead one of the guy grabbed me, and started swinging me around. I felt like a ballerina.

"Put me down!" I shouted. They just kept swinging me around, like on Dancing With The Stars.

I screamed the first thing that came to mind. "Percy!"

They didn't react at all. They threw me up, like I was a cheerleader, and caught me.

"PERCY!" I yelled. I knew he lives in the city. Maybe if I screamed loud enough he would hear me.

"OH JESUS!" I screamed, as the herd of men twirled me around, switching every twirl.

"HELP ME!" I cried. No one came. Where were all the other women in this damn city?!

This is going to be the rest of my life.

"PERCY!" I screamed one last time. I heard a car screech to a stop. Great more men.

"Annabeth?!" I looked up, and see a pair of green eyes staring at me.

"Percy! Help me!" I yelled, in relief. He comes forward, and catches me as I fall from the air. The men suddenly snap out of it, and walk away dazed.

"Oh thank you!" I said. "I didn't know what I was going to do!"

"No problem Wise Girl. Uh..." He trailed off. I blushed, and stepped out of his arms, missing the feel of them already.

"Thanks," I say, working up courage.

"It's no problem. I'm always here-" he stopped abruptly, because I'm pressing my lips to his in a sweet, passionate kiss.

"I'm sorry." I whispered.

"I'm sorry," he whispers back.

"I shouldn't have-" I began.

"Don't. I told you I'd wait. I did," Percy mumbled.

"I love you, Percy." I pressed a soft kiss to his lips.

"I love you, Annabeth."

That's when I woke up. I breathed deeply, and I tired to get up, only to have an arm bring me down.

I sighed in relief.

"You okay?" Percy mumbled tiredly. I nodded.

"Yeah. Just had a strange dream," I murmured. I grabbed Percy's face and bring it up to mine, and kissed him.

"Mmm," Percy hummed. "Go back to sleep."

"I could," I said. "But I have a better idea on what we could do."

Percy smirked, his eyes closed. "Do tell Mrs. Jackson."

Oh I did.
