*in a not so excited voice* Merry Christmas.
This isn't my favorite holiday, I feel like it's so overly advertised. Hope you enjoy.

BACKGROUND: Percy and Annabeth are 23 years old. They have been married for a year and this is their first Christmas as a married couple.
Annabeth

She looked down at the presents, and found the  biggest one. She handed it to Percy and watched him.

His eyes widened as he saw the small note, claiming that it was from Annabeth. He pulled off the bow, and started tearing at the wrapping paper, which was blue and decorated with snowmen. Excitement built in Percy, as he awaited his present.

Only to have it deflate in a second. Another box was inside this huge one, and Percy gave a light, playful glare at Annabeth. He started open to this box, and his excitement built again.

Squash. It was gone, and there was another box. Percy chuckled and started to open this one. He kept opening boxes, and opening boxes, and opening boxes. Percy was getting slightly frustrated and Annabeth was laughing quietly.

"Really Wise Girl?" He said, exasperation in his voice.

"Really Seaweed Brain," she replied. His glared at her now and she just laughed harder.

After what seemed like fifty more boxes, he reached a tiny, thin box that was a pale purple color. It was wrapped in a blue and pink bow, with little snowflakes on it. Percy hoped he'd reached the final box and opened it.

The inside had tissue paper of the color purple and was wrapped in intricate designs.

Percy felt tears in his eyes. He pulled out the present and looked up at Annabeth.

"I always do good on tests, huh?"
