Harry's POV
I struggled to open the door to my dorm room with the large plate of brownies in my hand. I had insisted that it was fine and she didn't have to give me any, but she insisted I should, for helping her. Not that I minded, not only was it a great opportunity to study her, which provided me with valuable information, but I honestly had a good time, and I had learned a new way to make brownies. I had to admit, I was expecting her zucchini brownies to taste like shit, but they actually tasted amazing, if I hadn't made them myself, I would never know it was in there, which was scary to be honest.
Once I had finally gotten my door open I wasn't surprised to find all the lads in the living room with open books in front of them. Niall and Louis were concentrating hard, while Liam paced back and forth reading something out loud. It was almost like Liam was giving them a quiz.
"Harry, where have you been, man," Liam shouted as I slammed the door shut behind me, looking at me like he was a mad man. "We were supposed to study together."
"I forgot," I lied. Of course I had known about, Liam's mandatory study sessions, it was hard to miss when he reminded you every chance he got, I just couldn't care less about them.
"Where were you, lad?" Niall asked through a mouth full of food. "What's that?" He questioned about the plate in my hands.
I set the plate down in the middle of the table, letting them help themselves. If, Liam was in charge, they have probably been at this all night and needed a break. I guess that was the up side about spending pretty much all day with, Dallas; I didn't have to put up with, Liam's bossiness.
"I was with, Dallas," I informed them.
As soon as he name left my lips, the three of them, even, Louis who hadn't acknowledged my presence until now, turned to look at me. Each one had a look of skepticism in their eyes, which I couldn't blame them for. As far as they were concerned, I hated her and would not take out time in my day to willingly visit her.
Louis looked away from me, looking at, Niall then, Liam, then back at me. "For arguments sake, what the hell were you doing with her, all damn day?"
"I went to go check on her," I informed them, which still wasn't a lie. "And do a little research while I was at it."
"Research?" Liam rose his eyebrow at me.
I nodded. "Yeah, well, we need to learn how to defeat her and we can only do that by observing her, isn't that what we're here for? I sort of have an idea on how to do that."
"Do share," Louis chuckled, not believing a word I was saying, while, Liam looked genuinely interested and Niall just looked scared.
"I was thinking," I began. "Maybe the way to get her good is not be attacking her directly, but attacking what she loves most, what weakens her most; her family. I mean, I've spent enough time with her to know she loves them more than anything and-"
"No," Niall interrupted. "No, that's not what we're here for. What we have to do to, Dallas is one thing, but hurting her family, that's something different and it's wrong. Besides, you said so yourself, you aren't sure if she's the one we're after."
"Yes she is, just because I haven't been able to confirm it-"
"I have." he interrupted me, again, catching everyone's attention. "I have gym with her and I've seen her- I mean, not seen her, just, ugh, she doesn't have the birthmark okay," his face had turned red as he grew embarrassed and frustrated. "It's not there so it can't be her, so we can't do this, it isn't right."
