Ro's POV

"What did you do?" Harry whispered harshly, looking in my eyes, searching for some good reason behind my actions. I knew my "acting" wasn't very convincing, not to them at least.

"What the hell did you do?" Ron roared, pulling my attention from Harry, stalking towards us.

Without hesitation, Harry wrapped his hand around mine as a crowd formed around us. They all looked at me like I had just committed the ultimate betrayal and I suppose in their eyes, I had.

"After all we have been through and everything we did to get that book and you just hand it off like it was nothing, how could you?" Ron continued to shout, scaring me a little.

My hand tightened around Harry's, although I knew the truth, the way he was acting was still frightening me.

Next, Aiden joined in and so did Louis, the three of them chewing me out as if though their own lives depended on it. I suppose it did. Even though I wasn't too familiar with these activities, I now knew first hand how dangerous it could be.

I stood there, hand in hand with Harry, listening to everyone yell at me and giving him gentle squeezes to keep him from yelling back at them, which I knew was coming. For some odd reason, I could sense it. After that vision we shared, I knew something had changed between us. The constant electricity that ran between us whenever we touched, it was a lot stronger, but ever so welcomed. It was something I couldn't wrap my mind around, the way it worked or why it happened was a mystery to me, but I had a feeling the book contained those answers as well as whatever Ethan and Ron were after.

"Are you done?" I interrupted their yelling once I grew tired of it. Of course they had every right to be angry at me, but I had to draw the line somewhere.

They all looked at me, their anger growing and I swear if Harry hadn't stepped in front of me and Charlie didn't hold him back, Ron was about to fight me. It didn't happen too often outside of our sparing sessions during training, but whenever we were livid with one another, we spared in a controlled manner until we were both satisfied. It wasn't normal, no, but it was effective in settling our sibling quarrels.

I moved from behind Harry, standing in the middle of the room, removing the old carpet and stomping on the loose floorboards until they sprung up. I grabbed them both and tossed them aside, bending down and reaching under the boards and grabbing the heavy ass book in my hands.

It was still there, in all its dusty glory, it was in the exact spot Harry and I had seen in our shared vision. I wiped off the dust, Evan and Andy flashing a light in my direction, letting the blue leather hardcover be seen as it was revealed, the gold, brass looking symbol on the front glowing and orange red color. I held it out away from me, a smile taking over as for reasons I could not explain.

I turned it around and showed my angry mob and a grinning, Harry and Niall the coveted object, feeling mighty proud of myself. "I saw Elliot in that vision," I announced. "I figured, if he was there and here, he was most likely after the book, so I let him think he took it from us," I explained with a shrug and a smirk.

"That's my girl," Dean echoed loudly with a laugh, smacking my back harshly, I was pretty sure my lungs were about to collapse.

Ron grinned from ear to ear, taking a step forward with his hands extended for the book until I held my hand out at him. "None of you are getting your paws on this until I get apologies from each of you," I informed them. They all grumbled a half ass, pathetic, "sorry," that lacked any conviction whatsoever. "Yeah, I believe that just as much as I believe- well, I believe in pretty much anything, but that was the worst apology I have ever heard in my life, so you guys don't get squat," I gripped childishly, wrapping my arms around the book to keep it safe from their grabby hands.
