Harry's POV
Our intense laser tag game was interrupted when the lights went up and the music died, all of us looking around to see what had caused the disturbance. Standing near the door were two vaguely familiar people who were just taking in everything that was going on. The man looked slightly older, but he looked happy to see the interaction that seemed to be happening. On the other hand, the much younger, beautiful looking woman looked like she had something on her mind that she was fighting to keep to herself.
Everyone's attention was now on them while, Dallas and Ron fought each other. "Get out, Leonardo," Calliope rudely called out to the man, I presumed, who just smiled at her rude remark.
Ron finally pushed, Dallas out of the way as they both ran to the man, getting to him first. "Hi daddy," he laughed as he hugged both of the new adults in the room. It was odd to watch them interact. I had always wondered how he got along with them, seeing as he was technically not their son. They seemed to love him just as any parent would love their kid.
"Hi, Ronaldo," The man called out in a laugh with what sounded like a Mexican accent, but his English was perfect otherwise. Dallas also had that slight accent when she spoke certain words, making me wonder if she spoke, Spanish. "Hi, baby," the woman greeted next with a slight, New York accent, just like the rest of her children.
She seemed way to young to have mothered so many kids, especially one as old as, Ethan. I wasn't clear on his age, but he was probably in his thirties, or getting there and this woman still looked like she could be their sister. She was probably their stepmom, though, Dallas never mentioned that before. Well, she hardly ever mentioned her parents now that I thought about it.
My attention was again captured by, Dallas' voice as she pushed, Ron away. "Hi, daddy," she kissed her father on the cheek as she gave him a large hug, which he seemed uncomfortable with, but hugged back anyway.
"Where's my pizza?" He asked as he pushed away slightly.
"You're late so I ate it," She lied, I could tell by the tone of her voice. "Hi, mom," she spoke to the woman next, lacking the same enthusiasm she had greeted her father with.
Her mother, brushed her hair back as she looked at her up and down. "Hi, baby, how was your drive? Did you guys eat already?" She spoke sweetly, though her wondering eyes may suggest otherwise.
"No," Gabe yelled from beside me as he made his way to greet his parents next. "She didn't want to feed us," he lied, we had just eaten before we started playing.
Dallas rolled her eyes in feigned annoyance with her little brother. "We're fine," she assured them as she stepped back to let Collin and Calliope greet their parents.
After their kids greeted them, the rest of, Dallas and Ron's friends said hello as if they were just as part of the family as everyone else. Soon enough, the Dean, Professor Clark and Ms. Castro joined the crowd with a very happy, MacKenzie. As everyone went around, I watched as Dallas' expression slowly changed from pain to happiness. Again, showing me how the simple little things brought her joy.
"And who are they?" Her dad mentioned to the rest of us who stood there awkwardly, feeling out of place.
"Um," everyone looked at, Dallas as she began to explain. "This is, Louis, Zayn, Liam, Niall and Harry, they're my friends," she pointed towards each one of us. "Guys, these are our parents, Adriane Monroe and Leonardo Monroe," she introduced us.
