"I want to spend time with you today!" Whined Isaac.
"Well I'm sorry, but you heard my dad yesterday we're going up to Michigan today. I'm sorry," I pouted back at him.
He flung himself back and sprawled out on his bed, almost knocking over his computer in the process. He groaned.
"Hey wait! What if you came with!" I suggested excitedly.
He popped his head up and raised an eyebrow. "I'm listening."
"What if you came with. It'd be a lot of fun and plus my grandma has been dying to meet you, and my grandpa is a ton of fun. Oh and my cousins, aunts, and uncles might be there too and they're awesome," I explained.
"What if no one likes me?" He asked.
"They'll love you. Trust me if my dad likes you they'll like you," I assured him. "Your the most amazing person, alongside my dad, I know. They'll love you just like I do. Trust me."
"Now who's the cheeseball?" He said laughing.
I sighed in exasperation. "Heaven forbid that I try and comfort my boyfriend!"
"Hee hee. Okay lemme go talk to my parents and go talk to your dad and then I'll text you. Sound good?"
"Yuporoni! Bye." I closed my computer and hopped off my desk chair.
"Dad!" I hollered from the upstairs railing.
He appeared in the middle of the living room, and yelled "what?!" In a weird voice.
I laughed a little. "Can Isaac pretty please come?"
He sighed. "I guess."
"Thank you!" I said heading back to my room. I heard him mumble, "yeah, yeah, yeah."
I was about to enter my room when Asher stuck his head of his room making sure that I could only see his head.
"Isaac's coming?" He whispered.
"Yep."
"Gee do I get to bring a friend?"
"I don't know go ask dad."
"Okay," he said and opened his door and and began walking out. I instantly covered my eyes.
"Whoa! Put it away! Cover it up! Do something!" I yelled.
"Oh oops," he mumbled.
"What's going on!?" My dad said running up the stairs. He stopped when he saw the scene. "Good grief Asher put your clothes on!" He turned away.
"Dad can I bring a friend with?" Asher asked. I smacked my forehead.
"Yeah whatever! Just put your damn clothes on!" My dad exclaimed walking down stairs.
"Do think think if I text Wes now he'll be here in a half hour?" Asher asked me.
"I don't know just get in your room and stop standing there butt naked!" I exclaimed and walked in my room.
...
"So when do we leave?" Isaac asked as he walked into the house.
"As soon as Wes gets here," I said rolling my eyes.
"Ah. I see. We're all going to squeeze into your dad's RAV4?" He asked raising an eyebrow. "That'll be a little tight."
"Nah. Wes is bringing his parents' mini van so we'll be good," I explained. "Speaking of which there he is."
Wes pulled up in a sliver van honking the horn probably waking any of my neighbors that sleep past nine.
"Howdy!" He exclaimed when he got in.
"Wow dude that was quick!" Ash exclaimed.
"How'd you make an hour drive in 30 minutes?" I asked crossing my arms.
"There was no traffic and I don't call that car the silver bullet for nothing," he said with a look of pride on his face.
"Well you're not driving. You'll either get us lost, a speeding ticket, or dead. Maybe even all three," my dad said.
"I'm alright with that Peter. Are you going to drive then?" Wes asked.
"Does anyone else wanna drive?"
"I will!" I exclaimed.
"Alright. Here you go," Wes tossed me the keys and with that I ran to the car with Isaac in tow.

"There they are! Oo and they brought friends!" My grandma exclaimed excitedly. She engulfed me in a hug. "How are you sweetie?"
"I'm good grandma," I said with a slight giggle.
"Oh good. Now come everyone's on the living room," she said leading us into the living room.
I looked at Isaac who looked a little nervous. I grabbed his hand an gave it a squeeze. I looked up into his eyes and winked, he winked back.
"Look who's here everyone!" My grandma announced to everyone. We all exchanged greetings and after that was done my grandma looked at me and said, "now who's this Kat?"
I looked at Isaac who kind of stood there shyly. "Everyone this is Isaac."
Isaac said, "hello."
"Isaac this is my grandma Valerie," she hugged him. I gestured to my grandpa. "This is my grandpa Sonny," they shook hand and my grandpa clapped a hand on Isaac's shoulder. "This is my Uncle David and Aunt Linda," they all shook hands. "My Aunt Paula and Uncle Steve," they too shook hands. "And my cousins Eric, Emily, Gregg, Zach, Travis, Jon, and last but not least Maxx." He shook all of their hands. "Everyone this is Isaac."

My grandma pulled me aside saying that she needed my help with something.
"You have found yourself a keeper," she whispered putting me in a chair at the dining room table.
"You think so?" I asked.
"I know so. He's perfect for you. He's kind, sweet, funny. You don't have anything to worry about. Trust this old women."
I laughed a little, "okay grandma."
"Your father showed me the pictures from yesterday you looked beautiful and happy. Your eyes were shining like I've never seen them. They were complete. I can tell you already trust him with everything. Now you can't run. No matter what you feel stay with him. He can help you. Now go on and let me cook dinner," she laughed and began cooking.
I walked towards the living room, passing the sun room where all my aunts, uncles, dad, and grandpa had gathered to watch football. I was about to step into the living room when I heard something interesting, so I ducked behind the wall and listened.
"So you and Kat? How long has that been going on for?" I recognized my cousin, John's, voice.
"Four months in five days," Isaac answered.
"How long have you known each other?" My cousin, Eric, asked.
"Little over two years now," Isaac replied.
"Play any sports?" Max asked.
"Soccer, and hockey. I used to play basketball, but it's a winter sport as well as hockey and I prefer hockey."
That excited my cousins.
"You play hockey?" Zach asked.
"Bring your gear up next time you come. We play hockey too!" Travis exclaimed.
"Well me, Trav, Zach, and John do at least," Max said. I smiled at the fact that they were all getting along.
"How do you feel about her?" Eric asked.
"I'm unable to describe what she makes me feeling. She's so wonderful, kind, funny, talented, smart, and though she disagrees beautiful on both inside and out. I'm crazy about her. I love her a lot," Isaac said and I pouted my lips. He was the sweetest cheeseball, I was lucky to be in love with him.
"Now. How have you gone with her?" I heard John ask. My eyes widened and I clamped a hand over my mouth.
"Dude that's my sister!" Ash exclaimed.
"Oh like you don't want to know," Wes said.
"She's my cousin and I'm curios," John said.
I could feel the anticipation radiating from the room.
"Well it's not like we've done anything. Just hold hands, and kiss," Isaac answered coolly.
"Is she a good kisser?" Greg asked. My eyes widened even more if at all possible at the question and the fact that my reserved, nerd of cousin asked it.
"Yeah, really good," I could practically hear the smirk.
"Damn our cousin has game. Any French kisses?" Emily asked.
"No, no. Just normal," Isaac said hurriedly.
I decided that I should go in and stop this interrogation. I walked in and sat next to Isaac. My cousins were all smiling/smirking. "What?"
"Nothing, nothing," Eric said glaring slightly at the others, who had already picked up another conversation.
I smirked at Isaac. "I heard everything," I whispered in his ear. A blush crept onto his cheeks and he kind of shrunk into his seat. I pecked his cheek. "I'm crazy about you too, cheeseball."
He smiled and wrapped his arm around my shoulders.
