"Alright, I think we're done here."Dean stated after the three of us had searched the bathroom top to bottom for anything else that might of been helpful to the case."Let's go."He motioned, leaving the bathroom, only to come to a complete stop just as he exited. I was about to ask him what the hold up was when a voice caught my attention.

"What are you doing up here?"I peered around Dean's shoulder, realizing the person who had caught us was one of Donna's friends. I recalled seeing her downstairs.

Dean panicked, telling her the first thing that came to mind."We-we, had to got the bathroom."I groaned at his response, sending an annoyed look at Sam. Remember when I said he was good at lying? I was wrong.

The girl, Charlie, I think her name was, rolled her eyes."Who are you?"She demanded.

"It's like we said downstairs, we worked with Donna's Dad."Sam said simply.

"He was a day trader or something."Charlie explained, sending Sam and odd look."He worked by himself."

"No, I know. He meant-"Dean began to say but Charlie wouldn't let him finish.

"And all those weird questions downstairs, what was that? So tell me what's going on or I start screaming."She threatened.

Sam was the first to brake."Alright, alright. We think something happened to Donna's Dad."Sam spilled, hoping the girl wouldn't go through with her threat.

"Yeah, a stroke."Charlie snapped.

"That's not a sign of a typical stroke. We think it might be something else."Dean explained.

"Like what?"Charlie asked, her interest perked.

"Honestly? We don't know yet. But we don't want it to happen to anyone else."I added."So, if you want to scream, go right ahead."I challenged as I crossed my arms and smirked.

"Who are you, cops?"

"Something like that."I replied.

"I'll tell you what. Here."Sam started, reaching into his pocket. He pulled out a pen and paper and wrote down his number."If you think of anything, you or your friends notice anything strange, out of the ordinary...just give us a call."He finished, handing the girl the card. She looked down at the paper as we walked past her and out of the house.

We went to the local library later that night to see if we could find anything about this Bloody Mary.

"Alright, say Bloody Mary really is haunting this town. There's gonna be some sort of proof-like local women who died nasty, right?"I asked the boys.

"Yeah but a legend this widespread it's hard. I mean, there's like 50 versions of who she actually is. One story says she's a witch, another says she's a mutilated bride, there's a lot more."Sam explained, nodding slightly as we sat down at the table near the back, in the most remote area possible.

"Alright, so what are we supposed to be looking for?"Dean asked, resting his head in his palm.

"Every version's got a few things in common. It's always a women named Mary, and she always dies in front of a mirror. So, we've gotta search local newspapers-public records as far back as they go. See if we can find a Mary who fits the bill."Sam explained as we started our research.

"Well that sounds annoying."Dean grumbled.

"No it won't be so bad as long as we..."I started, trailing off when I spotted a set of computers in the corner with 'out of order' signs written on them."I take it back. This will be very annoying."I amended, chuckling softly to myself.
