Katherine P.O.V
A while later, we left the house and dropped Missouri back at home. We returned to Jenny's house after and sat outside, watching. Sam felt as if something was still wrong. I couldn't place it but I still had the same bad feeling in my gut.
"Alright, so, tell me again, what are we still doing here?"Dean asked and I looked at the house.
"I don't know. I just....I still have a bad feeling."Sam responded as he stared at the house too.
"Why? Missouri did her whole Zelda Rubenstein thing, the house should be clean, it should be over."Dean mentioned and I shook my head.
"Dean, this all isn't a perfect science."I told him and he looked back at me before looking down. He had been ignoring me since our little bicker in the house and Sam seemed to pick up on the tension.
"Yeah, well, probably. But I just wanna make sure, that's all."Sam reassured Dean, while looking between the two of us concerned.
"Yeah, well, problem is I could be sleeping in a bed right now."Dean said tiredly as he slid down in his seat. I sighed, looking out the window and back at the house. Jenny was in the upstairs window screaming for help.
"Dean. Look, Dean!"Sam exclaimed and we wasted no time in exiting the car. Dean grabbed his sawed of shotgun while I grabbed a pistol.
"You two grab the kids. I'll get Jenny."Dean ordered and we all ran in.
"I got Sari!"I yelled to Sam and he nodded, all of us taking off in different directions. I ran to the little girl's room but stopped at the threshold when I saw a figure on fire stood in front of a very scared Sari. She looked up at me in fear and I bolted over to her, picking he up. She buried her head in my neck as I mumbled words of comfort"Don't look. Just don't look. It's okay."I started backing away from the figure and towards the door. I meet up with Sam in the hallway and run out with him. Sam slows down behind me and hands me Richie. I look up at him in confusion.
"Kat, get them out of here."Sam ordered as he looked behind him. I was about to protest when Sam was dragged away by an invisible force.
"Sam!"I exclaimed, about to run after him but I still had the kids. So first I ran out to Jenny and Dean outside. I give Jenny her kids and run back inside, hearing Dean shout my name behind me. The instant I was inside, the door slammed shut and I looked for Sam.I slid to a stop when I entered the kitchen as Sam was slammed into a table. "Sam!"I cried, rushing to his side. Just as I knelt down beside him, I was thrown into the wall, pinned. Sam was thrown against the cabinets then pinned to the opposite wall just like I was. I groaned, trying to get away to help Sam but it was too strong. I could faintly make out the sound of something slamming into the front door then moments later footsteps.
"Sam! Kat!"Dean called as he moved through the house. A second later, a burning figure came from the corner, heading towards the middle of the room."Whoa."Dean muttered, raising his sawed off shotgun with rock salt rounds at the spirit.
"No, don't!Don't!"Sam called, stopping his brother.
"What, why?"Dean asked, his gun still raised.
"Because I know who it is. I can see her now."Sam said, staring at the figure with sad eyes.
The fire vanishes and Mary's image appears. I've only ever seen pictures of the women but I know it's her. She looks like the boys, Dean more so. She stood in a white nightgown, her blonde hair flowing around her shoulders and when her eyes opened, she smiled. Dean's arm dropped to his side, his face soft and eyes filled with tears.
"Mom?"He called softly, completely disbelieving of the spirit in front of him.
"Dean."Mary Winchester said to her eldest son, a soft smile on her lips as a tear rolled down Dean's cheek. Then she turned to me, looking at me with a smile.
