That Blonde Haired Boy

Chapter 4

Niall busted down the door of they building, searching everywhere for Charlie. It was pitch black and it smelt like death. Broken furniture everywhere and the smell of fresh blood was near.

"Please get off me." A girl shrieked down the corridor.

Niall ran straight towards the scream, broken glass everywhere. This apartment wasn't very clean, you'd probably get disease if you stayed here for a night.

Pitch black and quiet, this is when Niall used his vampire powers to survive. Night vision and listening to every movement there was. "I'm innocent please stop." The girl screamed once again. Niall zoomed down the hallway towards a door. It was locked and barricaded. "CHARLIE!" Niall screamed at the top of his lungs. "I'm here to save you but it's not going very well!"
It all went silent, was she dead? Was the rapist dead? Was Niall too late. "Charlie are you there?" He screamed once again. "If you take one step inside this apartment I'll blow her head off" The Waiter warned.

Niall took out his phone and called the police, he was going against his pack more and more. Vampires are human eaters most of the time, not one with them stopping bad people. "Hello? Police?" It went silent. "Hello, this is the Cheshire Police Department how may we help?"

"I took this girl out on a date and this Waiter kidnapped her and took her to his disgusting apartment and raped her. I think he also has a gun."

"We're on our way."

The line went dead and Niall sat outside the door patiently waiting. He could go inside and save her, but the risk of her dying was also in his hands.

Half an hour later and the police still haven't arrived, Charlie screams were loud and ear pitching. Niall stood up and took a couple of steps back and got ready to ram the door open. He couldn't let Charlie die on their first date. He ran in his vampire speed through the door, causing it to collapse, "Charlie where are you? Scream!" Niall looked hopeless finding her in a tiny bedroom.

He heard sirens and sighed of relief. "Hard man calling the police." A voice crept up behind Niall. He struck out, anger took over an attacked the guy, sending him punches till he bled. The Waiter pulled out a gun and shot Charlie in the leg, she screamed in pain. Blood everywhere, Niall turned into a monster and bit the human, the waiter was now lifeless.

The police arrived, they arrested the Waiter and took Charlie and Niall into questioning. Before they left the apartment, Niall changed back to normal and went over to Charlie. She was bleeding badly and her leg was badly injured. "Don't move." Niall hugged her saying everything was gonna be alright, her clothes were all ripped and her eyes were bloodshot from crying. She was practically naked but Niall ignored the beautiful naked women in front of him.

He healed her with his vampire powers, another perk of being a supernatural being. She was shaking and cold, her clothes were ripped to shreds. Niall had healed most of the wounds caused.

Nialls POV

I healed her with my powers and took her home. The drive home was silent, she was all shaken up and scared. I wasn't really good at this type of caring for a human thing. "Charlie...you alright love?" 'Love?! Why the fuck did I call her love!' I thought dumbly to myself. She looked up at me with her big brown eyes. They were so pretty, if only she knew how beautiful she was. I wanted to call her mine but that means going against my master.

"Thank you Niall for saving me." She smiled showing all off her teeth. God she was gorgeous. "It's okay, we're nearly home now." I smiled turning my head back towards the road. Oh my Jesus what was I gonna say to her Father. I'm not good with explaining things, plus he made me nervous anyway. Charlie was drowsy from the side effect of my healing powers so she couldn't do much explaining.

We pulled into her driveway and I felt my legs go like jelly. I helped Charlie walk to the door and rang the doorbell. I felt like I swallowed my heart.

"Your back, finally! What's wrong with Charlie? She looks dead." Her father joked.

"There was a um accident at the bar." I stumbled nervously.

"What was?"

"I left the bar to go home or I'd get in trouble, she was busy talking to some Waiter. I don't really know what happened after I left, but as I was about to sleep, my phone started ringing. I answered it and heard muffled screams and they sounded like Charlie's. I ran to the bar and asked where the waiter lived. When I got to his house I found out that he had raped her, I called the police and they arrested him. It might be in the news or something, sorry for tonight sir, I understand if you don't want me seeing your daughter again."

Charlie's dad was speechless.

"I don't really know what to say... Will she be alright?"

"Yeah, by tomorrow she's forget what happened tonight."

"Your staying the night here to look after her. Thank you Niall for saving my daughter."

Charlie's dad smiled at me warmly and hugged me. I guess the mother of this family died and Charlie is all he's got. "Please call me John." He smiled at me, showing where I'd be sleeping tonight. The house was quite big, had a feeling i would easily get lost here.


He led me into Charlie's room, I felt a bit awkward about this but I couldn't say no. I sat down on the sofas in her room and watched her sleep, she looks so peaceful. I have a crush on Charlie, I've only been here a week or so and I'm falling in love with this girl.

*NEXT MORNING*
Charlie's POV

Woke up with the worst headache possible. I remember nothing from last night apart from talking to Danny. Everything else was a blur.

I got up and looked around to make sure I was at my home. Looks like I wasn't going to school today as it was already midday. I went downstairs to make some breakfast. I heard footsteps and I froze.
