Chapter 31

Charlie's POV

*A week later since Phoebe Tomlinsons death*

*Funeral day*

I woke up from my alarm, and saw that it was time to get ready, today was gonna be tough. I felt sorry for Louis family, if only Phoebe was still alive.

Niall had bought me a nice slim black dress for today, with some black high heels. They looked really expensive, where the hell does he get this money from?!

I curled my hair and did my makeup, Niall hates it when I wear makeup as he likes the natural look, but I feel naked without any makeup on.

I haven't heard from my Dad for a week now, ever since Phoebe died. And there's also been another attack on the local primary school and loads of ten year olds got slaughtered. I just hope Dads okay, even though we fight all the time and he's a alcoholic, without him I'd be an orphan, and I'd have no family left. Apart from Josh...but haven't seen him for years.

I checked the time and saw that it was nearly time to leave, I fixed my hat and went outside to get in the car with Niall, I've been staying at his and Yasmines this week.

"Black makes you look sexier" Niall whispered into my ear. I blushed and pecked him on the cheek.

Ever since he came into my life, things have gone amazing, but also bad. But whenever I'm with him I feel safe so that's the main thing.

When we arrived at the graveyard, there was so many people there. The Tomlinson's are a very popular family I suppose. We walked into the crowd and straight away I spotted Louis, I quickly rushed up to him and hugged him, giving him a peck on the cheek.

"Are you feeling okay Lou?"

"I'm not the best, but I've got to hold out till the service is finished"

Even though I'm with Niall, nothing's gonna stop me from loving Louis and spending time with him. He's like my older brother, we used to have so many sleepovers when we were younger, and me and his sisters always used to give him makeovers and do his nails.

"Are you going to say something before Phoebe's coffin is buried?" He asked me.

"Yeah, I haven't really prepared anything but I'd love to tell everyone the memories we all had" I smiled.

Louis walked away to greet more people, I went over to Liam and Yasmine. Yasmine looked stunning today and Liam looked gorgeous as usual.

I'm so glad I have these guys as friends, they put up with me even when I'm annoying. Liam's such a cutie, and Yasmine is like my sister. There basically like my family. And now I have Harry and Zayn, they're also such fun to be with. Zayn was showing me smoke tricks which was funny, and Harry showed me his tattoos and told me his meanings. Being with them this week brought me closer which I loved.

It was time for everyone to sit down and give there last words to Phoebe, I sat in the second row at the front, next to Yasmine and one if Louis' sisters. She was crying, a lot. So I hugged her and gave her a warm smile. First to speak was Louis' Dad, I've never properly met his dad, but he looks so much like Louis.

After his dad said his speech, it was his mums turn.

"Phoebe was an amazing daughter, she loved life and was so innocent. She didn't deserve this pain of dying. She was such an intelligent girl and will be missed a lot. If I could go back in time, and change things I would. I love you Phoebe......"

She continued.

I couldn't stop crying, I hated funerals.

Afterwards, the remaining sisters gave their speeches, then it came down to Louis.

"Phoebe was my favourite sister. I used to get on with her the best, even though she used to give me make overs and make me wear her clothes. She was the one sister that made me feel confident about myself. I had a dream on becoming a singer, she made me feel confident about that. When she was getting bullied I made sure no one would touch her again. I was protective over her, but I'm protective over all my family. Going through the divorce was also hard, so I always made her happy again.

When we were younger me and Phoebe always used to play with Charlie, the three of us did a lot together when we were smaller. I just hope she's looking down on us right now smiling. She's in heaven now, god is protecting her, I've done my job. Now she can look over me. I love you Phoebe, goodbye!"

And Louis kissed the coffin, putting a picture of him and her when they were younger. Everyone now was crying there eyes out, I even saw Niall at the back crying.

"Thank you all for attending the service, we will now bury the coffin." The man said.

They carried the coffin out into the graveyard and everyone followed, by now my mascara and makeup was ruined and I looked a mess, but I didn't care. Niall came up to me hugging me, kissing me on the lips.

They placed the coffin into the ground and people started to chuck things in, like pictures, flowers, I even saw a phone being chucked in. I put in a note that Phoebe was wrote me in pre school.

As they were about to fill the ground up, Louis mum stopped them. She had a teddy in her hand.

"Before you close her up, can I please put this teddy inside the coffin?"

"Just don't look at the remains though"

As Phoebe was attacked and half eaten, the only remaining parts of her was her leg and arms and her head.

She opened the coffin, I couldn't look but everyone else did.

"She was given this teddy when she was born, and she slept with it everyday. Now she can sleep with it forever."

And with that the coffin was closed.

There was an after party, but I didn't feel strong enough to go to that so Niall took me home.

"You okay bub?" he smiled.

"Can't believe she's gone Niall..."

"I've never been to a funeral before" he said. I looked at him surprised.

"Really?"

"Yes really." He sighed. "Vampires don't die remember"
