'Agatha, listen to me.' Merlin's gentle voice echoed through the mountains surrounding her.' I knew you would come her to breathe and I have to tell you something. ' he said staring her straight in the eye.
'What. After all you've done so far. Just what do you think you can say.' she said back to him, it was the first time he had ever seen her so stressed. Her eyes were red from tears and he stepped back to leave her some space.
'There is a chance I messed up the potion. After I had been tow warn Callis I remembered something about the night I concocted the potion. I was in my cave and I went over to the other side of the room to get some pink ogre hair from one of my draws , when all of a sudden a felt air brush past my face, I turned round knocking out one of the draws, all of the contents of the ogre hair and the pink crystals mixed together. The crystals have an effect, when mixed into a liquid, to make the consumer confused and not be able to connect with any feelings. I though I had cleaned it up but maybe some of them got into the love potion, confusing Tedros.' He said, out of breath from his speech.
'But what about me, why wasn't I confused?' she asked doubtfully.
'That's because I made one version earlier in the day and thought I should make another, so you each had one. I must have given him the wrong one.'
'But how can we tell?' she said. 'I mean couldn't we just give him the drink I had and make him want to sleep?
'Yes.' He replied ' But we will have to be quick because he needs time to become tiered and sleep and have a dream.'.
Agatha and Merlin got up and went over to the portal. But something strange happened . It wasn't there, they had stayed too long and it had closed. They had to find another way out.
'How can we get out?' Agatha whined. ' Are we stuck here?'
'No, follow me and hurry. Its a long way but we can make it. There is an emergency portal all the way up that mountain' And they left the mountain bare and dry. On their way to the portal.
'What do they call it? Its massive' she said, staring up at the huge mountain in front of them.
'They call it Merlin's mountain.' He replied.
